Does anyone who'd been at the fort recently know the current price for a 6 seater golf cart from Disney?

Bama Ed thank you once again! That helps. I have a 6 seater reserved with Kenny, but am thinking it may be more expensive. She quoted me 680 for 13 days, but one is the day we arrive late, so we wont' need it, and the other is the morning we leave, so we won't use it that day either...Still tho 11 days at Disney is quite a bit more. But I'm wondering about the $300 /week with Kenny- maybe it's more because it's Christmas?

Well, I would allow for a modest increase in price because of the lag time (if you are asking for next Christmas which is more than a year later than the date of the quoted price in my link).

I don't begrudge any vendor (including Disney with the price of their campsites) the right to price their product due to supply and demand. If you think the price it too high, don't pay it.

(But hey, Kenny's 6'er still sounds like a sweet deal)

I agree with the supply and demand. And I do think it sounds like a better deal than Disney. I'm curious because someone once fairly recently said something about getting two 4-seaters for about the same price, and I'm wondering if that was thru Kenny or Disney. And honestly I've never even seen a 6-seater, but they must be nice! I just want to be sure we do the best thing available for the best price we can get. Maybe I'll call and ask Kenny's about dropping the first day, since altho that's the day we arrive, we will be pretty late so we wont' be using it, and the morning we leave I don't think we'd use it then either.... Do you know if they charge by the day or week?

I don't know Kenny's pricing scheme.

However, I think people decide to rent two of Kenny's four-seat carts instead of renting a Disney six seat cart because the economics still come out way in their favor. And only a little higher than Kenny's six-seat-per-day rate.

Sorry but I am an analytical person so I think of it like this:

$1K6<$2K4<$1D6<$2D4.

:lmao: I'm STILL sitting here studying this! I WILL figure it out! :rotfl2:

Although I own my own GC and have never rented from Kenny, I have not seen anyone on either board I participate in say that Disney was cheaper than Kenny, unless the rental was on;y for a day or two. I think Kenny rents by the week, but that's a guess.

If Kenny has one to reserve for you, do it. We were there over this winter break again, 8 nights, after 5 night cruise. I let cruise prep cloud my mind, and forgot to call Kenny. Well we booked with the Ft cause Kenny was out. We were put on the list for the 6 seater, we checked everyday,(usually twice), and never got one. They don't promise or reserve the 6 seaters; and we barely saw more than a couple

It's 80-90.00 a day through the Fort, but you can't reserve them, it's first come first served and you have to prove you have 6 or more people in your party.

We plan on using Kenny.

Ken brings up a good point. :teacher:

I think Kenny will go shorter than a week (maybe down to 4 days) but doesn't do anything shorter (guess that would be 1-3 days).

At that point, for the short-term rental period, Disney is about your only choice.

It's the emperical equation for folks who need more capacity than what a single four-seat golf cart can provide.

Here's a clue or two:

$

...the cost of...

1

...one of...

K

...Kenny cart(s)...

6

...that can hold six people...

<

...is less than...

and D is for "Disney".

I like working Sudoku puzzles on vacation to relax but only if they are labeled "Easy". :woohoo:

Oh my---- now it looks even longer! LOL I think I'll just leave it as it is. However, I may call and ask the price for two 4 seaters- that sounds like it might even be better- then we could split up a little.... I'll keep you all posted if I find out anymore about prices. But it will just be a very simple thing like x dollars. :lmao:

We were there over Christmas and waited too long to book Kenny so we rented from Disney. Their 6 seater is $85/day and you can't reserve - we didn't get one.
