Price lock question on balance

We have reservations for 9/26-10/3 and we’re at AOA originally. When Disney decided to push back AOA opening, I called and guest services moved us to Old Key West. She filled out a price lock form, said Disney would pay the difference as this move was not at my request. That’s been over a month now. My confirmation of the change came immediately, but the price difference remains on MDE balance. How long does it take then to adjust the balance? The booking is due in full this week and we’ve paid all of our part. I called and they said not to worry, they are just backlogged, but seems it shouldn’t take this long? I said what about the total being due this week? He said we are allowing people up until two weeks before to pay it off now. Said there were notes on my account not to cancel it and the balance due was Disney’s portion to pay.

Call them back and ask to speak to a guest services supervisor. Explain your worries to them and they will usually get it taken care of quicker. A regular cm can’t change your totals, only a guest services supervisor can.
