price increase from last year

I just pulled out our stuff from last year and discovered it is costing us $500 more for one more night than it did last year at the same exact time. Wow! And that is even with the fall visa discount. Just can't think about it, just can't think about it!

Really $500 for a night? How many rooms did you get?

Though prices at Disney going up is as sure as death and taxes.

We pulled out our stuff from last year as well to compare, and saw an increase of about $100 total (same nights and room)

Do you mean your whole package cost is $500 more when compared to last year's trip and this year's trip has one more night than last year's trip? This doesn't really seem surprising. Disney popularity does not seem to have waned despite the economy, the increasing prices, or the endless Disney construction.

Which hotel do you stay at? I'm guessing the DLH is going to seem really pricey once they complete that refurb and people start snapping up the bookings to experience all the new features. It used to be that PP and DLH were pretty close in price. I'm guessing those days will soon be over.
