price diff. st Disney store vs. online

I went to my Disney Store tonight to shop, and there were some big differences in prices between the store and DisneyStore Online.

At the store, I noticed the beach towel/ beachball sets are priced at 7.99. Online they are 4.99 I believe.

There kids' short pajama sets at the store for 7.99- online they are down to 4.99.

The biggest difference I saw in prices were the snowglobes. Practically every one they had at the store was marked down to 29.99!! And on the website, the lowest price I saw for any of the same ones was 39.99, I think. Most were lots higher- 54.99 and 59.99!

I am going back tomorrow to get a couple of snowglobes for Xmas gifts! They are a great deal!

I purchased some items online about 2 weeks ago and when I went into the store, they were much cheaper.

I got the purple/pink bubble blower online for 9.99. In the store it was 7.99. This was one among many items...

Same at my TDS too! (in Jersey)

Of course, on line you have to pay for shipping.

Our store has two racks of clearance and that's it. They really got cleaned out over the weekend.

I agree the prices are different on-line than in the stores. The bathing suits still have not come down to $4.99 online(waiting for the moment ).

A questions....

Can something purchased on-line be returned at the DS?

Yes, you can return online purchases at the store. I have done it several times. They don't refund your shipping charge however.

Whenever I'm not sure about a size, I just order two sizes and return the one that doesn't fit back to the store.

I agree with the OP that this is a bummer...

I don't want to pay shipping and am interested in the pjs and the towels, and they won't come down in the B & M!

So, I keep calling them and harrassing them...kidding. But I am politely asking...and they WON'T pricematch...even tho I've heard others say that their store WILL. Bummer.

Anyhoo, I am hoping today (Wed) or tomorrow they will come down to the online prices...

their prices are confusing for sure.

I bought the kids hats and paid 1.99 in the store and online they are 4.99 still.
In the store they had the cover ups at 4.99 and they are higher still online.

Im also waiting for the bathing suits to come down in price. I didnt make it to the store in time to buy them there

The lady at the store told me they are different companys that why the prices are different but if you tell them they will give you the online price. I have done it several times. Hope this helps
