Price bridge to a DVC AP?

Hi everyone. We are going this April for our first DVC stay . I am planning on getting a 10 day hopper with WP&M from UT. I was talking with some friends about possibly going down in February 2016 for the Princess 1/2 marathon, in which case I believe it makes more sense to get the Premium AP. My question is that since I am not positive about the Feb 2016 trip yet, I was going to go ahead and get the 10-day ticket as planned and then hopefully by April I would know for sure if we are going to go down again. At that point, could I upgrade my ticket to the DVC Premium AP, while in WDW? Or is that something that has to be done ahead of time? Thanks!

You would have to make a decision on the upgrade no later than 14 days after the first use of the MYW or before the last day runs out, whichever comes first.

Right, that is what I was thinking. But I can do it down in WDW?

I was just reading another thread about this and I have another question. When I upgrade in WDW to the PAP, will they give me the DVC price, as long as I show my card?

Yes,just say you are upgrading to a DVC PAP and hand them your member card along with your drivers license.

Last time I went I asked the price of upgrading to several different guest relations. Always got a different answer. That was 2 years ago. They were all close to the actual price I paid at UT to cost of DVC annual. Theuy used to do difference of gate price and DVC annual. So nothing saved. I ended up just waiting 9 months and buying my annual. I still got 2 trips out of the annual.
