Here we are, 4th busiest week of the year, 10:45 in the morning and we were on our way to the little mermaid. Walked past BOG and nobody was on the bridge.

Asked the CM how long the wait was.

"No wait ma'am- welcome"

Seated in less than 5 minutes and our food has already arrived.

Anyone in MK currently? GET OVER HERE!!!

Wow! That is a shocker based on everything I've read here on the boards. Hope you have a wonderful lunch!

So Tuesday at 10:45 am is what time we will be having lunch on our next trip.

OMG we are going in two weeks and I think that this is just the lull before the storm. OP when you LEFT was there a line? I want to believe that I will get in without wasting valuable time but my gut tells me it will be a long hot wait when we get there in mid July.

When we were there in May, the line was over the bridge and wrapped around the corner toward TLM. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait. My 22-year-old son was willing to wait as this was a new experience AND he heard the food was great. We were seated with our food served in 30 minutes! Well worth the wait. Now, standing on that bridge in the heat of the summer ... That would be brutal Maybe family members could take turns standing in the line!

when we were there 2 weeks ago, when we got to the bridge, employees were handing out golf size umbrellas. It really helped with the hot sun. There was a cooler of water to drink also.

Get out! That would NEVER happen to me! So, how was it???

Oh we are going the last week of August and since I can't get a ADR (still trying) we are doing lunch. As it happens we are doing our full MK day on the Tue. that week so fingers crossed we get a wait like this. Of course some pixie dust and an ADR would be the best.

There was a line when we left, but only about 1/4 the way up the bridge.

And it was fantastic. My mom and I split the pork entree and a French onion soup, and it was more than enough for 2 people!

We walked right in today for lunch around 11:30 am... NO WAIT?!?!?!? Had our food in about 5 mins. I'm confused why... It was pretty busy there today.

Could it be because people have heard of the horrible lines and no one wants to be in those in all that heat?

Shhhh. Don't let word get out. Lets keep it quiet so we can enjoy it. Tell anyone not on The Dis that the lines are horrible -don't even try.

When we walked by March 30th (Day before Easter) at 11:15 we saw no one on the bridge. I asked if they were closed and CM handed me a menu. Walked in and only a family of four and a couple in line. Dont know if it was birthday luck or if some days they are just not busy, either way I was very happy!
