If I have to wait any longer to make these ressies I think I may burst. I have been planning this trip for my family for months and everytime I go to make that phone call something comes up and I can't call. We are definatly going Dec. 14- 18. That is all I know for now.
I should introduce myself before I go too much farther.
Hi I'm Amy, I'm 28 (for a few more days) and the resident Disney freak in my family
I have been a member here for a few years and mainly lurk. I am trying to come out of my shell here and thought this might help.
I am planning a trip with my mom and my twin brother and sister (15). My mother and I originaly wanted this trip to be a birthday trip for the twins in October however my brother plays golf for his high school and was afraid to take time out of school during the season. We then decided we were going in Jan. after the vacation blackout time at my job ended. Well long story short I quit that job, so our vacation was changed yet again. This time we decided on Dec.
I am sooooo very excited about gonig back to Disney for Christmas. Our first trip was at Christmas. For the last 8 years I have worked in retail as a manager and there was no way I was ever gonna get time off in Dec. So as soon as I left my job I said to my mom "I can finnally enjoy Christmas again, and we can now go to Disney for Christmas" . Happily she agreed.
We are supposed to be making our reservations this fri. I can't wait. With all the changes we have made I can't wait to make that call.
Not only am I excited about it being the Christmas season I am happy because this is the first trip with the twins where they are old enough to enjoy the more adult attractions. The last trip I took with them was when they were 10. To tell you how that trip went one of my most vivid memories from that trip is my sister standing infront of Thunder Mountain saying "I can't go on that, it could kill me". Everytime that trip that my mom or I went on a ride she didn't deem safe she cried and cried till we got off it. You would think using baby swap would of embarrassed her but it didn't. So now that she is a thrill ride junkie I can not wait!!!
Well I guess thats all for now. Its late and I should go to bed. I'll be back to update once we have decided on a hotel.
