Pretrip Report turned work in progress to final trip report for mommy daughter disney

Reservations are made!!

Would love input on this. Suggestions.. Comments..

September 18th- Arrive at airport, take shuttle to hotel, take ART to Disneyland. Dinner reservations are at Goofy's Kitchen.

September 19th- Morning madness at Toontown. Lunch Reservations are at Blue Bayou.

September 20th- Sleep in a little later- Breakfast with Minnie in the park

September 21st- My DD's 4th birthday Sleep in slightly (that will allow the birthday phone calls lol) Breakfast at Carnation Cafe, followed by reservations at Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and then photoshoot for that, ending the day with a birthday celebration at Ariels Grotto. Go back to hotel early- swim and have more birthday phone calls

September 22nd- Magic Morning- late breakfast in the park at River Belle. Dinner Reservations at Rain Forest Cafe.

I think you made some excellent choices in dining! Goofy's Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in all of DLR (though generally for breakfast, not dinner) and they have a very wide buffet that you all should like, as well as classic characters. Minnie & Friends has a lot of characters and people love it, and Ariel's is very popular, as is Blue Bayou. I also love Carnation Cafe, Rainforest Cafe and River Belle Terrace! So a big on the food choices! I think you guys will have a FANTASTIC time, between all the character meals and the BBB photo shoot, and taking PhotoPass pictures in the parks. Don't forget to ride Toy Story Midway Mania, Monsters Inc. and visit A Bug's Land for all of its cute rides.

I love this site let me tell you lol. Is my pretrip report started out right? Or is it not detailed enough? I told a co-worker about out reservations and he wants to know all the details once i get back he is very jealous. he will be taking his family soon too.

I think your trip sounds wonderful! You are going to have such a great time with your daughter!! BTW, my son turns 5 on 9/24! We're doing a big WDW trip in December to celebrate that.

Sounds great to me! You're doing the same character meals that we are when we go (Goofy's Kitchen, Minnies, and Ariel's Grotto) although we'll be there about a week before you. I've only done the Minnie & Friend's before but I have only amazing things to say about it. If you wanted to see pics of our experience I've got links in my signature to my TR!

Everyone takes their own approach to their TR's!! Feel free to do as you please with yours, and definitely a good start. One thins we DIS'ers love to see is pictures though when you get to the aftermath of your trip.

Just something to keep in mid. When DD did BBB at WDW, she wanted her hair to stay put for several days. We managed to do this by very gently rinsing her hair in the bathtub during wash time. Keep in mind that going swiming will do in the 'do.

What better way to start then with airport pictures

we had an execu car service pick us up at LAX and within 5 minutes...

then checked into the hotel- Motel 6 Now normally I would not stay at a Motel 6 but it was newly redone so figured for the price.. why not.. NO COMPLAINTS!!!

Then to Disney

We started at the hatter store. She got her button and her birthday ears (BOTH were WIDELY noticed by CM- and she loved the attention)

we were running late so we only had time for one ride

then off to Goofy's kitchen. The whole experience was magical...

She got to dance alone with him and was sooooo excited about that

then we did some more rides, played at pixie hollow and watched fireworks

She is a big tink fan as you can tell by the overdone smile lol

After all this we were tired so headed back to the hotel and who should we see...

and again.. within 5 minutes of being in the hotel

then we went on Splash mountain and visited Pooh

then back to the hotel for naps and came back for Fantasmic

Lovin the empty park!

On the Matterhorn. DD loved this ride but it tossed her so hard to one side at a turn she brusied her hip on it. She didn't complain though.. she wanted to go again lol

On Alice.. I love this picture!

We played more in Fantisy land and about 5 minutes before the park opened we headed to Nemo. I know we could've rode a ride but this line was HUGE all the time. Hopefully thats different now. After Nemo we went to Minnies for breakfast. Again.. AMAZING! The experience was just grand

Then we headed to PFF. OMG!! That wait was horrible! The longest line by far we had to wait in. And I do not think I will EVER do that again. Yes it was fun, and she enjoyed it A LOT. BUT we saw all the princess again at Ariels so it wasn't really worth it. Now maybe if she didn't see any of them at the character meals we would.. but I doupt that would happen. lol

BUT I got some great pictures

Then we did more rides

We had to ride on Astro Blasters soooooooooo many times (which was easy becasue the line was like 15 minutes) because I could not get DD to show up in the picture with me lol

So we kept going on to try and get her in a picture... switching positions, tried to find the camera.. you name it.. finally I had her sit on my camera bag.. so it was like a booster seat lol and...

GOT IT!

So more rides...

Then we headed to DTD to do shopping and back to the hotel for some pool time

Ok so for the princess birthday she woke up to a room COVERED in balloons... not sure how that happed

We went to bed and it looked like...

We had breakfast at the park. I think it was a cafe on main st.

We spent most of today just riding rides. Lines were longer today, so I didn't stop to take as many pictures.. to those that are enjoying them.. sorry

We did M&G with Mickey and Minnie at their houses

went back to DCA and rode some rides, watched the play parade, and played in the puddle park.

and sadly back to the hotel

How fun! You girls are lovely! Isn't it so much fun to spend your princess's B-day at Disneyland?!?! DD & I spent her 7th B-day there last year *her BIG day is 7/3* Our trip was similar in many ways to yours ~ we even stayed at the same hotel for 2 of our nights *1st two were spent at the DLH ~ but my budget could only afford 2 nights there Have fun next month!

We're hopin' to spend her 8th B-day in the parks!
