Congrat to DD Also congrats to your friends kids that is great!!! Here is a little for Nationals and for it to be at WDW in 2009!!!

I think it is hilarious your DH came home with 2 t-shirts from himself when he went to the Disney Store...no one is excited or anything.

BTW your DD is too cute in the picture you posted!!! And the little one next to her in the pink and maroon looks so excited.

Awwww thanks!! That would be so rockin if they were held at WDW in 2009, I am crossing all my fingers for sure!
All the girls were soooo excited, and there scores are mostly all so close to each other, first and 10th place are seperated by tenths of a point, so competition is really tough!!

Oh I almost forgot about this one too...when we were shopping in Chicago this weekend, I actually convinced DH to buy a pair of Crocs!!!!! I could not believe it! He always swears they are hideous.......but these ones he claims are more "manly" because they are like an olive green with some bright orange adjustable strap I had never seen them before, they look more rugged, but they are actual Crocs, not an off brand. So it looks like my evil plan to turn him into a WDW lover is coming along swimmingly *evil laugh*
He says he bought them because they would be good for the beach....suuuuuure hunny next thing I know he will have an account here at the Dis!!

I didn't know they had a Great Wolf Lodge there, that would definetly be one of my top choices to stay, we were looking at doing a trip to Wisconsin Dells later this summer and were looking at staying there, it looks fabulous!! I forgot about Kings Island...probably for good reason, that is a big "coaster park" right?? You know how well I get along with those!!! But I am sure it would be in the mix of plans if DD does qualify next year! And possibly meet the Dis famous timandlesley... oh yeah for sure! That is if we don't meet you at spectro or on the Port Orleans buses first!!

Yeah, they just built the GWL, it looks SO cool, I drive by it every morning on my way to work, it's right next door to Kings Island. There are lots of coasters at KI but a lot of other fun rides too, incredible kiddie land and an awesome water park. I'm sure we'll see eachother in Disney, but if for some reason we don't then we'll plan a meet in Cincy.

I am on a buying spree...did quite a bit of damage to the credit card. I had better stop However, I still need that luggage and then I will stop...no really I will

I woke up in the middle of the night last night and couldn't sleep, I checked out Kings Island website, and you are right, it does look awesome, that kidsland area looks SUPER FUN! Heck you maybe even able to get me on some of those!! The water park looks fabulous too, so far that is one of my biggest regrets is I have yet to schedule in TL or BB on any of my Disney trips.

Ya I think it would take more than DH buying 2 on sale Disney shirts to get him to come around to DVC!!
i hear you about the shopping spree, but I was finding such good deals, I couldn't pass them up!! I think it goes into the infamous "fuzzy math" category, it applies to things otehr than Disney too!

Okay...I don't whether I believe you or not that you actually read my TR last night. I have never been to nursing school... The closest I have come to the medical field is that I was a medical transcriptionist for many years.

I forgive you thought because it is really hard to keep up with all these TRs sometimes and who says what when and where!!! I have posted on one person's TR thinking I was on another's and had to go back quick and change what I wrote because I made no sense.

I really do hope you are reading though.

I love that the thread is so popular though! It is really really fun chatting with everyone. We all have each other to Dis with and we understand each other - at least the Disney part of it all! Try to make it over as much as you can. We come up with new things every day so you don't really have to read too far back if you come in now and again.

I love all the pics of people making special shirts and outfits for their trip!! I thought I would post some too!!!!
Like I said about my dear friend and travelling partner Jana..she really is super Mom, she made DD a Minnie shirt! We had been looking on EBAY at all those custom Disney outfits, but man are they pricey, but oh so cute. She thought she would try her hand at making one and see how it turned out! I think it turned out darling! She gave it to Mackenzie for her birthday!

She also gave her some princess bows she found on ebay:

And a minnie "bottlecap" necklace. I had given her the Cinderella one, I also have a Aurora one for Kaylee's upcoming birthday:

I had also gotten Mackenzie the Disney crocs, there is a Minie bow, plus a cute little shirt I found at Target that reminded me of Minnie so I thought that would look cute.

I also bought Mackenzie a High School Musical shirt and also got one for Kaylee to give to her for her b-day. I thought those would be cute to wear to MGM, because the HSM Pep Rally is an absolute must do for us. I mean seriously these girls are obsessed. DD found a HSM necklace that has a picture of Troy on it, she will not take it off. She also got a HSM pillowcase with his pic on it.....yeah, can you say a little girl has her first crush ..she was doodling in a notebook on our way home from Chicago writing TROY over and over and little hearts and drawing pics of him....DH is not happy LOL!

I love that you posted those pictures. If only I could buy more stuff for Brooke to wear there but DH will be upset if I do that since she has a TON of summer clothing already! Girls are just so much fun with all that kind of stuff, huh?

Oh I know, kids clothes are soo cute. I am horrible, I buy Mackenzie way too many clothes every season.....but yet I rarely buy myself anything new. I really do need to learn to treat myself sometimes too!

I think it was the olive green that did it! Too much!!
