Prestige homes in Davenport

How are these homes we have a 6 bedroom booked . Also how long of a drive to Disney & Universal.

Not sure where in Davenport these are located but I live in Davenport. It is 12 miles from my house to MK and Epcot, shorter to AK. It takes about 1/2 hour to get to Universal.

Is Prestige Homes the name of the development or the management company?? We've stayed in Hampton Lakes development in Davenport and really enjoyed our stay. The house was gorgeous and the drive wasn't bad at all.

Personally, since we spend every day at WDW or Universal, Davenport is too far out for us (we take afternoon breaks with the kids). We have stayed in Emerald Island, which is like 5 minutes to Animal Kingdom, 15 to Magic Kingdom. We have a 6 bedroom home booked for May which we are very excited about. If you are not coming back to the villa midday, maybe Davenport wouldn't be bad. Also there is a thread on the Transportation board about a new road which may make it possible to get to WDW from Davenport without sitting in traffic on the 192 (others will know more about this).

One of the biggest things you are in fact going to find a difference in is price. Staying in Davenport will save you a good few hundred dollars usually. However, you have to not mind the drive.
