We are avid press penny collectors while at WDW, and are wondering if there are press penny machines at DL or DCA.

Anyone know??

Yes, there are tons! A lot in the penny arcade and the others are scattered over the different lands. I collect them too and I can't wait to go and get more. :)

Thanks for the reply!!

I'm off to gather quarters!!!!....already have the pennies!!! :)

Yes, there are TONS! My 4 year old son was thrilled with his collection! He can spot those machines a mile away! :rotfl:

We got about 20 when we were there a month ago. There are a lot in the Penny Arcade but otherwise I didn't think they were that easy to find in many places. The above list was very helpful in finding them.
Good luck

All over the place! They also sell a DL themed collector booklet for your pennies.

Oh great...didnt' think of this...need to remember LOTs of quarters and pennies!!!:rotfl:

My DD has started a quarter jar and she's saving them for our trip in June to do the pennies. Is it .51 cents each? That's what all the machines here in Hawaii are...

I can't remember, I think it's only .25 cents but it might be .50 now that I think about it

Yes, 51 cents each.

My boys loved pressing pennies when we went last fall. We got their pennies pressed with their favorite rides, and also favorite characters, and they loved them!

Unfortunately DH stored them with a camera battery for the trip home ~ Big mistake! They were blacked and some of the images eaten away. :guilty:

Oh, a good tip for storing your quarters and pennies: Get a tube of the Mini M&Ms. Empty it out and fill it with the coins in sequence (2 quarters, a penny, 2 quarters, a penny, etc.) They'll be easy to carry and use! (Note that you may want to store them in a clear ziploc-type bag for the trip through airport security, though.)

For the true collector, here's a link to a checklist pdf:

Don't click unless you are truly serious! My dd(9) obsessed over finding every single machine! :sad2:

Thanks for posting this. My DD loves to find them. She will love this !

Great great idea on the M&Ms container. Today is her b-day and we leave in 32 days....I think you have helped with me a great idea for a b-day present. Thank you so so much!

GREAT IDEA!! thanks!!!

We use old film canisters (before we went digital years ago) to hold quarters and pennies.

Film canisters are a great  also! wonder if we have any anywhere? we are digital also.
