We are traveling to Universal during Presidents' Week, arriving late the 22nd and heading home on March 1. Which day(s) would be best to go to IOA? I'm not worried about the Studios, or about SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, which we also will be visiting. I'm the biggest Potter fan, and the main reason for our trip is so my husband can take me to Hogwarts. :lovestruc

We have 4 day park to park tickets, but wonder which day we should be sure to hit IOA to go to WWoHP. We of course will be enjoying all the parks have to offer, but Harry Potter is the main draw for this trip.

We're also considering trying to get to the shuttle launch on Thursday the 24th. Do you think it's worth giving up a day of vacation to try to see the shuttle? We know there's always a chance of the launch being scrubbed, and we know the traffic would be horrendous getting in and out of Titusville (all the KSC tickets are sold out).

Thanks for any advice. Our last vacation was a disaster so we really need this one to be a success. :thumbsup2

I think you would be wise to stick with a mid-week visit to WWoHP to try and keep the crowds to a minimum.

You can never count on a shuttle launch going off as scheduled. I hope it does but the odds of it being delayed are always huge. So many things can change the launch so cross your fingers that the weather, wind and mechanical problems do not affect the launch.
