We are considering moving up our vacation from August to February to avoid the heat but because of school schedules this is the only available week to go.

Are the parks manageable if you arrive at opening & have a good plan?

Are the crowds comparable to Memorial Day weekend (we just did it) or alot worse?

TIA

Hi! We have visited both during President's Week and the week before Memorial Day. I would say that there are more crowds during Memorial Day, IMHO. Yes, there were crowds during both times, but the early to rise, take an afternoon break and using fast passes really kept us from waiting no more than 20 minutes at most attractions. We decided early into our trip during last President's Day that we would not get on any line that showed more than a 30 minute wait...and used fast passes if we needed to. We rode all the rides and then some!

We go President's week every year, It's a little crowded, but not that bad. You should be able to do everything with no problems. Also the MK is open until midnight on the weekends and 11 on certain weeknights of Presidents week. It gets less crowded at night when the park is open late. Hope that helps you.
