President's Week '09

I should begin by introducing the characters in this PTR. There's DH, DD 11, DS 8 and myself. We have been to Disney several times, but it's my favorite place on Earth!

So... our PTR actually begins about 7 months ago. I have always wanted to go on a Disney Cruise. DH was totally against it, always has been. Then guys from work started going taking these cruises and returning to work talking about how awesome they were. So, in July last year, I started looking at prices for President's Day weel cruises. I found a great deal and mentioned it to DH. Surprisingly, he said he would be willing to do it, so I quick booked it before he changed his mind. Now all I had to do was wait.

Until... the prices of airfare came out back in August. We quicly discovered we couldn't afford to fly to Orlando and go on the cruise. Sad news.

But then... friends of ours asked if we wanted to go to Disney World during the February school vacation. They were planning a trip to a family member's condo. How lucky is this!

So our DCL vacation turned into a WDW vacations. And that's OK with me!!

We are flying to Orlando on Southwest on Valentine's Day. Our flights are direct, so that will be really awesome! We leave at 10:00am and out flight gets in to Orlando around 1:00. We rented 2 cars from Dollar. Got a great deal on them months ago. Npw they are going for double the cost. Anyway, we shoud be to the condo by 2:30, I hope. Once we unpack, my friend and I will go to the grocery store for breakfast items, drinks, snacks, etc.

Since we are flying on Valentine's Day, I'm thinking of doing something special for the kids, but I don't know what yet.
