President week..who all is going?

We are going 2/13 to 2/21, celebrating wife, mom and brothers birthdays. Im fine with Presidents weekend being busy. How is it after the holiday is over??

last year it stayed very busy the entire week right through til the next Monday (1 week after President's day)

Feb 9-Feb 16th for us at POP! We have never been except for June. How does it compare? Will the weather be ok for shorts?

Weather can be all over the place! Pack for everything just in case. Most years it's in the low 70's but there have been times where it can be in the 60's which surprisingly can feel cool even if you are from the Northeast like me. Sometimes we get lucky and have a few days 75-80!

I will be there the 14th -19th staying at the Tree House Villas. We also will be celebrating my moms 60th birthday! I am very excited because I have lots of surprises in store like a specialty cake and a Wishes cruise.

I don't think Disney does anything. It is just a great time for us to travel since the kids are out of school. This will be our 10th trip during Mardi Gras. We always bring beads to wear then give to a cast member on Mardi Gras day.

This LA family will be there for Mardi Gras!!! We will be celebrating MG and so will all the other LA folks. You will be able to tell by the beads we will be wearing. It might not be so bad because most New Orleanians will be wearing Super Bowl shirts!! Geaux Saints!!!

Who here has started packing yet?

I feel like it's too early too but yet I know there is some stuff I won't be needing over the next 18 days

My favorite part is planning and just getting everything to go!! Because this trip was a spur of the moment decision and all the weird things going on in our lives I have had no time to think or do for this trip and it is less than 3 weeks away. By now I would have finished all my plans - which parks, touring strategies and dining plans. I have no plans whatsoever. Wish me luck!!

Will be there that week. 3 nights at SSR and 3 nights at AKV. The 14th to the 20th. Jordan posted extended hours for that week. Looks like it will be packed.

I haven't packed yet. Guess it will be jeans and tshirts. If it gets hot, will shop in Charleston. Will be there for a few days before we head to Disney.

Does anyone have their park days planned yet? I am trying to figure out which parks to do which day. UG has Epcot picked as the best park for 3 of our 6 park days. I like AK on Tuesday because it has extra hour days on Monday and Wednesday. This has always worked well in the past.

I don't plan my park days in advance, and we only visit MK and EPCOT. We knoe we're doing MK on Friday the 12th because we want to get it done before the big crowds come. We'll probably do EPCOT on Thuesday or Wednesday. I saw too that EPCOT is suggested for most days!! If you can though I would just avoid all the parks on Monday if possible.

I don't really have my parks planned, per se, but it worked out that way.

Even though we will have park hopper passes, we will just wing it. Not really trying to fit in everything in one day. Just go with the flow. All my dining has been reserved and we will spend time in the park that the dining reservation is made at. But if we don't get the opportunity to get on certain attractions on the day we are there, we will just go back another day or if EMH falls on that day.

We have our touring plans done... thanks to TGM... but I haven't started to pack yet... trying to get DD back to college first then will deal with packing....
