President Obama goes to Five Guys Burgers

I was just watching a show on NBC about President Barack Obama, which showed him "sneaking" out of the White House and stopping off at Five Guys Burgers in DC.

If it's good enough for the President and for Kevin ... it's gotta be good!!!

I am so excited. I just found out there is one not far from where I work. I am going to stop on my way home of of these nights. I have heard so many good things about them.

Its funny...DH and I were watching this on Tuesday night and we saw that and thought it looked and sounded so good! So we went for lunch on Wednesday and it was fantastic!!! I told him about the Podcast Crew liking it and Celebration Town Tavern (which we tried in April ) for best burgers at WDW!!!

We have two of these in Huntsville Alabama and they are just burgers and grilled hotdogs and fries. They do slice the hotdogs and flatten them on the grill. The Regular burger is a double and the small is a single so be careful when ordering. a regular order of fries is enough to feed half of the people oin Epcot. Good burgers but nothing spectacular.

Five Guys IMO is just an average burger, nothing special. I will say they have real good fries though. If you have ever been to Backyard Burger, they have a much better burger IMO.

We had Five Guys for lunch at work on Monday. Our bags looked exactly like the ones the President picked up. I thought the burgers were pretty good, very fresh and juicy. I hate dried out burgers. For fast food they were way better than Mc Donalds or Burger King, but not as good as Red Robin or Friday's burgers.

In our area, we have Five Guys, Backyard, Culver's and Wendys.

Five Guys wins HANDS DOWN. I can't handle a burger from any of the other places now.....

They are our favorite fast food burgers hands down.

My fave is cheese, bbq sauce, and mayo. Mmmmm.

They just opened one not too far from where I live, in Carson. Tried it a couple weeks ago. Loved the burger. I like that you get to pick exactly what you want on the burger. Didn't really like the fries too much, In-N-Out fries much better,imo. I thought of Team while I was there.

I haven't tried five guys - but I am amused by you limiting five guys burgers to "fast food." I read this as saying Litton's burgers are best as they are not "fast food."

The grease comes from the fries...they're pretty much just dumped in there and those bags are thin, so you're gonna see the grease...

Five Guys is our favorite place for burgers around here! I'm sure there are better burgers elsewhere, but I love the fact that I can put whatever I want on it! The burgers are always fresh and have a great flavor!

DH and I share a regular order of fries. We never finish an order...I do love the fact that they are direct from the potato fries. No special treatment or anything...just cut and fried!

We just got a Five Guys here in NE Ohio. Those are some bad-a$$ burgers!!!! We loved them!

The Obama endorsement is just icing on the cake (or grilled onions on the burger - whatever!)

I just found out that they are putting in a 5 Guys not far from where I live. I'm not a big burger person but I can't wait to try it!!
