preserving wedding invitations

I posted this on the CB with not much response... it was suggested I post over here. Maybe you guys can help me!

One of our wedding gifts we got years ago was our wedding invitation encased in a clear plastic resin of some kind and it had a plastic stand on the back (like most picture frames do) as well as a little nail hole to hang on the wall. Now that it's been almost 10 years since our wedding, I'm really glad someone had the foresight to do this for us! It really is a neat way to preserve and display our wedding invitation.

My BIL is getting married next month and I'd like to do this for him and his wife-to-be. Does anyone know where I can get this done? The invitation looks like it is permanently encased within the plastic (or whatever the material is), it's not like it was just inserted into a slot.

Any ideas??

I've never heard of this before but have you tried Things Remembered? They might have something similar.

Somebody did something similar for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary party invites. They didn't have it encased in plastic, but just bought a nice picture frame and placed it in that.

a friend at a job I had a few years ago did this as a side business. She dried her own flowers and then would put the invites in a nice frame with some dried flowers to match. I had ones made for several family members that were married around that time. I believe all she did was use the frame and an acid free backgroud matting to keep it nice. It stays pretty air tight as long as you don't open it up.
