Ok for my DH's birthday, I bought tickets to Spamalot.

I'm sort of a Monty Python novice and I was thinking of putting a clever pamphlet or such in with the tickets..

I need help.. btw, he's going to be home soon...

How old is your DH? I'd put in the card something like "you're not OLD, you're 37!" (or however old he is).

and hamsters. Can't leave out the hamsters.

You could just put a big old "Neee!" on the front of the envelope.

Bravely ran away, away...bravely ran Sir Robin!

orrrrrrrrrr...

WHAT is your name? (insert DH's name)

WHAT is your quest? (insert Spamalot)

WHAT is your favorite color? (etc..)

orrrrrrrrr...

And African or a European swallow?

Present it with a can of Spam and say, "You're not dead yet."
Donna

End it with:

You won't succeed on Broadway if you don't have any Jews.

This is the funniest line yet... if you only knew.. I live in a town where over 90% of the population is Jewish...

The last time I saw this show, at the end...well, fooey. I don't want to ruin it for the OP!!

I'll highlite it in white so it doesn't show. Highlite it with your curser to read. OP, DON'T READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see. The gal they pulled up from the audience had the last name of Finklestein. I'm in Los Angeles. Everyone who attends live MP shows ARE Jewish and are in entertainment! The place roared. Fabulous!

Okay, that's it.

If you're hiring a babysitter while you go to the show, you can toss in that you've hired someone else to push the pram.

First, use a red marker to draw a huge gash across an envelope. Then, cover just a tiny portion of it with a band-aid. Write "It's only a flesh wound." on the envelope. Place the tickets inside and present it to DH.

Thanks!

I used most of the sayings and made a little pamphlet thing.. he's never been to the Spamalot show, and I haven't either.

He's so hard to buy for so this was great.

I am not a big Monty Python fan, but Spam-a-lot was absolutely hysterical. You will have an incredible time!

Spamalot was the funniest thing I have ever seen. It was absolutely fall out of your seat funny.
