My 4-year old son wants some games to play on my computer for Christmas. Any suggestions?

My girls like the Disney series--we have the pre-school pooh and kindegarten mickey.

A friend gave DD the I spy computer game and she LOVES it.

It's been awhile since I had a preschooler but my guys used to love the Living Books. I'm not sure if you can get them anymore but some titles were "Just Grandma and Me" and "Green Eggs and Ham''.

It read the story out loud to you but you could click on individual words to 'read' them. Also, on each page you could click on the pictures and funny things would happen.

My son and I play a Blue's Clues Game and also a Rolie Polie Ollie game. Almost all of the games now seem to have some element of learning in them.

Jump Start series are pretty good. Both the Toddler and the Kindergarten edition are easy enough for my DD4 to play alone. We just borrowed the Disney Magic Artist studio from the library and she's been having some fun with that one. So has DS8. It's nice to have a game that can be used by more than one age group

My DD always loved the Dora games and I bet they make a Diego game now.

My son has many of the "learning" games mentioned above: Disney, Blues Clues, etc... For fun, he loves to play the Hot Wheels games. Hot Wheels Stunt Track Challenge and Stunt Track Challenge II are great! Make sure to make sure that any games you get say that they are rated "E, for Everyone".

DS has the JumpStart Pre-School game and he likes it OK. His favorites games are actually on-line. Check out the games at nickjr.com for Dora/Blues' Clues, etc.. DS loves the Dora Bingo and the Dora and BC Matching games. There are also games on the Scholastic site for Clifford, the Playhouse Disney site for Bear, Pooh, etc.. If your DS has a favorite character you can go to that website and more than likely you can find some really good games for him. :)

Thank you all for your suggestions, I really appreciate them. And thanks Becka for the website info. :goodvibes

noggin.com and sesamestreet.org have a lot of good preschooler games, too.
