My poor DS has only been in preschool for one month and he's already got his second cold! :( Poor little guy. This time he's got an ear infection to boot. We just got the antibiotics today so we'll be fighting with him to take it for the next 7 to 10 days.

I sure wish people would follow the school rules and keep their sick kids home!

I know it's just a matter of him building his immunities, but it's so painful when your baby is sick.

Just had to vent. Thanks...princess:

(One thing's for sure, I'm keeping him home from school the whole week before we leave for DL in December! ;) )

::yes:: :wave2:

i work at a daycare center, so i understand what you mean..when i started working there, i was sick alll the time..parents should keep theirs kids home!!!!! one parent sent their child in with pink eye....of course, she got sent home..
okya-sorry, off topic! hope he feels better......and good idea keeping him out for a week before your trip!!

Actually, I just heard today from the gym teacher that it's all right to have pink eye in school. Only when you have a fever should you stay at home. The nurse told him this. I was surprised.

Remember, people respond to germs in different ways. The kid speading germs may be healthy or may not have gotten as sick as your child.

He'll probably go through the same thing in elementary school. Even my 7th grader starting in a new school was sicker than usual last year.
