For the second year, President Bush tops the most admired man Gallup Poll by a wide margin, followed by President Carter and Colin Powell. Hillary Clinton, followed closely by a Oprah Winfrey and Laura Bush tie, tops the most admired woman poll.
Although fewer Americans name Bush as most admired man this year, the president's standing still ranks as one of the highest Gallup has recorded for any president. Only three other presidents fared better than Bush on this most admired measure: John F. Kennedy during the Cuban missile crisis in 1961, Lyndon Johnson the month after the Kennedy assassination in 1963, and Dwight Eisenhower in the first year of his administration in 1953.

I too, admire the President for the job he is doing. I think I would place Mrs. Bush ahead of Mrs. Clinton.

Wow! I wonder why George W. scored as one of the highest scores for any president? Besides threatening war with Iraq and vowing justice for the 9/11 bombings (which I believe we should have), what else has he done for our country? I would definitely vote Jimmy Carter up there above George W, both as president and humanitarian. :p :D I'd vote for talk show host Montel Williams before George W. :p Just my uninformed questions and my humble opinion . Flame away. :p

Hillary Clinton? ICK! What is to be admired about Hillary Clinton? She's a "carpet bagger" JR. Senator.... tsk tsk tsk.... Flame away..

Bush........most admired????

Hey, perhaps if we throw this bozo some raw meat we'll dissuade him from getting our troops KILLED in an unnecessary invasion. Perhaps in his vendetta to get Saddam, he wants to achieve worldwide recognition as KILLER GEORGE:( :( :( :( :( ........

You're right, GOOFUS. I shouldn't hold back. :D :D

Bush has had it in for Saddam ever since the failed assassination on his father. Don't kid yourself. The Administration has little interest in disarming IRAQ; the whole "regime change" scenario is simply code for killing Saddam. Hey, if we kill a few thousand innocent Iraqis in the process, who cares????? After all, we all want to "strike back" at those nasty Arabs anyway:rolleyes:  . Since 9-11, George feels that the only good Arab..........is a dead Arab:( :(

Well, Powell would be at the top of my list. The female? Definitely NOT Hillary, but I'm not sure who.

Go Georgie! I too think that he is doing a great job! Every time I see/hear him, all I can think is THANK GOD HE WON THE ELECTION!!!!! I would put Laura above Oprah and WAY above Hillary however!
