Preparing for Disney Surprise Swap 3 and introducing my Blog

Since I have hijacked a few topics talking about this so far, I thought I would just start a new post.

Apparently, for KatDisney's next round of the Disney Surprise swap, there is going to be a Hope group, and so far I'm redoing the Woody and Prospector pieces. And I volunteered to remake other pieces if people want them, and if I still have/can get the supplies.

So I made a blog with pictures of everything I've made so far. It's not quite done, I have about a dozen more to add. But there are 33 projects up already. I listed materials if I could remember, and the inspiration for my pieces, in case it would help you guys with inspiration sources.

Hope! That is just awesome, and what tickles me the most of all, I have alot of the pieces you have on that blog! AND I have used almost of them already I did see a few I would LOVE to have..but my top choices are

Haunted Mansion Shaker Box and Library Pocket
Christmas Title, Frame, Mat, Tags, Paper Piecing
Brer Guys Mat, Frame, Squares, Lyric

But you know I am such a sucker for your paper piecing's.

This is not the day for being in a car is it, between this and Buffy's news. Very terrible stuff. Good thoughts to your friend. On another board, one of the posters works at the Univ. of Minn. so we are waiting for him to check in.

It's unbelievable. We are watching our news right now. I hope your friend is okay.
My first thoughts on hearing this were
1. I'm glad my friend has already gotten home from WS.
and
2. Are there any DIS friends who live in that area?

The Disneyland title is fantabulous... The picture does not even do it justice.

Ha! Suck-up Now, you have this machine thing...some sort of bug...how is using that coming.

I'm just very honored that you guys like my stuff. I am still very self conscious about my work. I failed art when I was in elementary school (how do you even do that!) and so while I am sometimes confident in my ideas, I am less confident about the execution.

For many of the early swaps, I would start working before I knew how many people would be in a group, so I would print extra materials. So I definitely have the stuff to do more Disneyland toppers. This evening I cut out the letters, and the ghosts for the HM stuff for Kat.

I think I'm okay on materials for everything people have mentioned so far, except paper for the Christmas mats/frames, but I found a place where I can order more online. I'm going to look around a bit more to see if by chance, I can find both types of paper I need from the same store.

Good idea, DH and I went to Rocky Mountain NP in September 2005, and I still have to scrap my pics too.

well yaaaa! I know who to suck up to..lol.. I love my cricut! I just wish I could afford more carts..lol.. but I have been cutting out tags like there is no tomorrow just because they are so much fun. You will have to play with it sometime when ur over here next hopefully I will get the zoo cart or an animal one soon. I am GOING to get the princess ones in october though

Anyway, Hope... I heard from my friend..they are fine.. no one hurt.. how about you? Any info on your friend?
It was terrible..and especially the fact that a school bus was on the bridge...it's just awful...

Yep, my friend checked in alright too. A bit shaken up though, because he used to drive that route, at that time when they used to live in their old house.

I haven't added more projects tonight, I plan on doing the rest tomorrow. Problem is, I keep remembering more stuff that I haven't scanned! Good think NEE has that list of swap photos, I used it to make a list.
