Premium SUVs avaliable at Alamo@MCO, trim levels, rear DVD?

Hi there!

We need a car for me, my wife, my mother in law and my three kids for our trip next May. I drive a minivan everyday and I wanted to try something different, so I decided to book a SUV. Since we also need space for all our luggage, I booked a Premium SUV.

Alamo says the car is a Chevy Suburban or similar. What other models may be avaliable? Does any come with a rear DVD for the kids? Are they well equipped?

I got a Chevy Suburban once at MCO. Can't remember the company (either National or Avis) but I requested an 8-passenger minivan and they didn't have it so they gave me the Suburban. It was very well equipped. It had 2 DVD players, one for the 2nd row and one for the third row.

Premium SUV's at Alamo/National tend to be Suburbans, Yukon XL or the Ford Expedition EL. The Suburban and the Yukon XL comes in the highest trim. LTZ for the Suburban and SLT for the Yukon. The Expedition EL comes in base trim for the most part.

For the next part of your question. Of the Suburbans I've rented, I recall one with DVD. That's not to say the others didn't have it; just that I wasn't paying attention since I was driving and we have no small children that would have needed it. However you stand a great chance with a LTZ model since it is usually fully equipped.
