They can still charge the $9.95 per day with the WiFi hotspots. Nobody said they had to be free. I don't think the TE hotspot is free.

I'm torn. Right now we have a reservation for a full hoop up pet loop for December. I was going to request 1800 again. We liked the loop, being close to the grassy canal area, and being a little bit away from the main road. However it was pretty tight to back in the motorhome and if there had been a vehicle in the driveway across from us we wouldn't have made it.

We would prefer an extended cement pad rather than the shell since we didn't use that area at all last time. It the pad was all cement we could back up the coach further and actually park the car in front of the coach rather than at the visitor parking area.

So it would be *nice* to have a bigger site, but it's not necessary. I'm trying to decide if it is worth the hassle of repeated calling trying to get all of my nights changed over (12 nights over the holidays), or if I should just leave it as is and go with it. Hmmmm....

why don't you check out the site they give you before you pull the motorhome in and if it is too tight, go back and ask for another one? that way, you don't have to go through the extra cost and hassle of trying to upgrade...i know several people who do this and they are very accommodating...just make sure you get there early so they have other spots to swap with you...just a suggestion

I have been trying to book a premium site for the last three days,calling in to three differnet CMs,All of them were saying the sites were not availble to book,when I phoned today I was informed they are all booked up and only preferred or basic were availble.Is sept 22 on that busy? and if I have a full hookup reserved now what changes will that mean,wiil I be bumped into further away site,very confused right now I wanted 900-1100 loops and have a 30 footer with slide and awning

the only difference between premium and full is cable tv and location right now, if you can deal without tv, (like you have direct tv on board or something) you should be fine...there are many local channels you can pick up right at the sites

Spoke with cm today who informed me that the premium sites are not available until July

Sounds like they will be down quite a few sites while they are converting to Premium. That might be why September would be hard to get.

It is adding $70 to our total so I guess like $10 a day. (we will be there 7 nights) I didn't see a break down. I thought one time I remember the website showing a breakdown of the days but I didn't see it this last time.

I just upgraded our site in Oct. to a premium today. It broke down to $74 with all the fees.

Last October, you could only get two web sites for free at the TE hotspot, both Disney info sites, so no web surfing or emailing unless you put in the number on your key and got charged.

so is it the same junky cable you get in the hotels? if so i will do without thanks. nice to see some upgrades being done but, not to offend anyone with hi-end rigs or long-term people, the shell pads have always been fun, i had fun as a kid as does my little one. i just cant imagine ftw without them, might as well be wal-marts lot. and another rant if i may, disney needs to bring back some sort of stay limit. when i was growin up it was 10-14 days max, leave for a day or 2 then come back. not knocking those that can afford it, but when a bunch of sites are tied up for people who want to winter in florida, it makes it harder for people with families that want to stay there. and i know that some, if not all of the loops are either small sites, or tight loops. ive always found it funny being there listening to people complain about it. the ft was built in the 70's when most campers werent 28ft long at the most. oh well im done ranting, like i said hope it didnt offend anyone, they dont listen to me at stockholders meetings, so i gotta vent somewhere.
