Where can I get information on what is covered under the Premium Plan for DVC members including the cost for 2012? Thanks!:thumbsup2

Maybe I called it the wrong name. It comes with DDxP dining, tours & a few other things. I found info on the WDW website, but as it pertains to a Magic Your Way Package. Since the segmenting thing worked so well for us I was thinking of trying this for a day.

There is a DDP that includes wine, but DVC only offers the QS, TS, and Deluxe plans.

Premium and platinum dining plans are not available for DVC members staying on points. They can only be booked as a package thru Disney. I tried to figure out last year why DVC members couldn't book them, and got all the way to the DVC executive office, who said they are looking at making them available for DVC members. That was going on a year ago, so it obviously isn't a priority for them.

I met someone on our August trip last week who is DVC & booked it. I didn't really pick her brain enough about it, but now that I am home I wanted to look into it for our next trip.

If you met someone who is DVC, and on the premium plan, they obviously were not using their DVC points for that stay. In order to book the premium plan, you have to book a room thru Disney, and book tickets thru Disney. DVC members, as well as the general public are welcome to book this plan, you just have to book the package thru Disney.

Call MS and ask yourself. I tried it last year, and no one at MS even knew what the premium dining plan was. I had to tell them about it, and lead them to the Disney website. I went thru several layers of DVC management to try and find out why we couldn't book the plan. As I posted earlier, the DVC executive office finally called me back to say that it wasn't available. Try and find out for yourself - I bet you get the same answer that I did.

I've had a similar experience as cvjw. Sadly the answer has always been that it cannot be booked.

I would love for them to make premium and platinum available to DVC stays. We'd happily give Disney our money to get this plan.
