I am planning trips in 2005, 2006 and would be able to use the PAP to cover both.

How does using the PAP work with booking a room? If I reserve a room 9 months before my PAP goes active can I get a PAP rate or do I have to wait? I would get a voucher then activate my PAP on the first day of our stay.

My understand with codes is you can only use them if they have rooms available and you will probably be asked to change rooms if you do. Is this correct?

<Script language='Javascript'>var rndNum = Math.floor(Math.random() * 10000);eval("var CDTDate" + rndNum + " = 'July 11, 2005 7:30:00 AM EST';");document.writeln("<form name='CDTform" + rndNum + "' action='Javascript:void(0);'>");document.writeln('<font size=2 color=darkblue>Disney Here We Come!</font><br>');document.writeln("<input type=text value='' size=40 name='WrittenByJamesMVenglarikII'>");document.writeln("</form>");if (theFunction) theFunction += "var d = new Date();";else var theFunction = "var d = new Date();";theFunction += "var c = new Date('" + eval("CDTDate" + rndNum) + "');";theFunction += "var diff = (c - d)/1000;";theFunction += "var days = Math.floor(diff / 86400);";theFunction += "var rem = diff - (days * 86400);";theFunction += "var hours = Math.floor(rem / 3600);";theFunction += "rem = rem - (hours * 3600);";theFunction += "var minutes = Math.floor(rem / 60);";theFunction += "rem = rem - (minutes * 60);";theFunction += "var seconds = Math.floor(rem);";theFunction += "if ((days < 0) | (hours < 0) | (minutes < 0) | (seconds < 0)) ";theFunction += "var out = 'At last!';";theFunction += "else ";theFunction += "var out = ' ' + days + ' days ' + hours + ' hrs. ' + minutes + ' mins. ' + seconds + ' secs.';";theFunction += "document.forms.CDTform" + rndNum + ".elements.WrittenByJamesMVenglarikII.value = out;";setInterval(theFunction, 1000);</Script>

AP codes are usually announced later than other codes. They are usually made available 1-2 months before the date that they can be used.

If you know where you would like to stay, you can make a reservation now and call when AP codes come out to adjust the rate or switch hotels. Or, you can use a travel agent like Dreams Unlimited . They will make the original ressie for you and then keep an eye out for any possible discounts that can be applied to it. It will save you time and long-distance calls. Their service costs you nothing above the cost of the room.

Chances are, that you would not need to change resorts, or room types when the AP rates come out. They do limit the number and types of rooms available with the discounts but there are usually some available at every resort.

BTW, your PAP will not need to be active when the rate code is applied to your ressie but you may be asked to show your PAP either upon checkin or shortly afterward.
