Quick heads up for all those still to book airport hotels for their summer holidays .............. just received an advance email to say £29 rooms are up for the summer dates

Just booked 2 nights for May bank holiday weekend near Thorpe Park for £58 ....... but August dates seem to be there too so you may pick up an airport bargain if you're quick.

Thanks for that. We are off to Menorca in May flying from Gatwick (couldn't get a free ch place from a regional when we booked last year! ), so will definately look into it.

I got an airport bargain last year with Premier Inn at Glasgow, also 29 per night. Can't really beat that for a budget stay! When does the "summer" begin? I have the email but have to search for it and you guys will be quicker

Not a £29 bargain, but I've just changed our booking after popping onto their website to try and find when summer ends. We're staying over at Gatwick on the 14th September, and were originally booked to stay at Premier Inn Gatwick South...for £86.50 (2 adults, including breakfast). We were then gonna pay for an evening meal for 3 adults on top of this....costing approx £40+ for three courses, drinks etc.

We've now changed this to Premier Inn Gatwick Manor Royal - 2 adults, breakfast AND three course meal included...all for £97. My Mom is driving us down and staying overnight, so we've booked a room for her too, which has come to £75 again for room, breakfast and three course meal. The meal also includes an alcoholic drink

So, thanks for posting this! I wouldn't have popped back onto their website to have a quick nosey otherwise
