Premier Passes

I'm knee deep into planning our next few vacations through 2019 and have decided that we are going to get 3 park premier passes (we will have a family vacation in October/November 2018, honeymoon in April 2019, and family vacation in October 2019).

My question is, when I purchase the passes, do they activate immediately or when you go to use them the first time? I'm trying to figure out if I want to buy with my tax return or if I need to wait and use my bonus check closer to actual vacation time.

Also, is getting the Halloween Horror Night pass that comes complimentary with the premier pass fairly easy to do? I don't plan on going, but my step son and his girlfriend will (they will have their own premier passes). I just don't want them to have to jump through a million hoops to get it,

Annual Passes are activated upon first use.

All tickets are valid from first use (activate at the gate) not when they are purchased.

As for the HHN ticket...they will need to go to Guest Services once tickets are available.

Awesome! This makes it so much easier on me. lol. I can buy each persons pass when I get my bonus each quarter instead of spending my tax return on them. Thanks!
