Staying Tuesday night. Is the onsite restaurant ok or should we head into the airport or Crawley Town?

Counting down to 14th May!

We eat there in Sept and got the dinner and breakfast deal which was well worth it. The food was good but would recommend booking a tablet a day or so before as the wait time was long.

We stayed at Premier Inn North Terminal in October last year and had the dinner & breakfast meal deal. I would be lying if I said it's the best food you'll ever eat, but it was pretty good, no complaints from us at all. I have some pictures ...

Cheesecake Dessert

Sorry I didn't have desert so I have no pictures of that...

Breakfast Buffet they had hot and cold offerings, pretty much whatever you'd eat for breakfast was there.

Hope that helps! Personally, I think it's a bargain, you're right on top of the terminal and the food is pretty good, at least as good as you'd get in the terminal but a lot cheaper!

I haven't eaten dinner at a Premiere Inn, but I think that their breakfasts are good value and very filling (at least, I do tend to stuff up on toasted sausage butties). I have eaten at the North Terminal restaurants before though.

Joe's Kitchen was okay - staff very nice but I got there late in the evening and many of the menu items had run out (don't know if that's a one off or not, but it left a negative impression).

If you take the monorail down to the South Terminal, then I'd recommend the Giraffe (always a good mix of food so something for all tastes).

Thanks for the pics Mr romance. It looks ok and like you said it's the convenience. We got the room for £42 and can just walk right over in the morning.

That's the thing for us.... we paid £94 (and got cashback through Quidco) for 2 adults 1 child, room, dinner and breakfast. You can just get up in the morning, get your fill of food and be in the terminal in 5 minutes. Compare it to Hilton and Sofitel and it's a bargain.

The breakfast was really good, the dinner was pretty good, nothing spectacular but honestly, what are your options? Eat in the terminal? That doesn't come cheap and it really isn't any better in my opinion.

We get Meet & Greet Parking with ABC Gatwick, go straight into the terminal for twilight check in and then you have all your food and stuff until the morning when you're all set for the off! :cool1:
