It's been awhile but where are all our Pregnant Mommies (& their families). Tell us how far along you are and how you are doing.

New Mommies - How old is your baby now and what fun things is your baby doing.

"Princess" Allison is 15 weeks old. Right now she is creeping all over the floor. She loves to sit up, very straight. Hope she can keep that great posture. And sleeping-well last night she stayed up until 1 am but usually she sleeps 7 hours a night.

next...........

My "baby" is almost 8 but I'm still blaming the extra weight I'm carrying on the pregnancy. How long do you think I can get away with that???

:D

I'm glad to be checking in here. I'm about 7 weeks along right now. I'm still feeling pretty good, just a little bit of morning sickness beginning to set in. We go in for our first real appointment on Friday of this week.

I'm still pretty nervous. I miscarried at about 9 weeks with my first pregnancy last summer, so I will feel better once we get past that point.

I'm also looking forward to our WDW trip in December - even though I won't be able to ride Splash Mountain or Tower of Terror, my two very favorite rides!

We are waiting to tell all our friends and family until Christmas. If things go well, I should be just finishing the 12th week.

We are really excited!

Our little man, Hunter, is 16 1/2 weeks old today.
He is rolling all over the place and lifts his head way up while on his belly.
He loves to sit up all on his own too. He's already eating cereal and has been growing like a wild flower.
His big sister (she's 5 yrs old) really makes him laugh with all her antics.
He has a wonderful and full laugh.

Hunter is a great baby!! He has been sleeping through the night for several weeks now.

We are all really looking forward to Christmas with our little man!!

Nathan will be 6 months this Friday! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. He weighs around 16 pounds now which is a far cry from the 5 pounds he started out at.

He is rolling over very well and he can sit for short periods of time especially when propped up. He loves to play with and eat his toys. ;) He is teething pretty good now and we expect that first little tooth in a few weeks or so.

He loves to eat solids and he takes most things very well. The only thing I can't get him to eat is plain rice cereal and green beans. He loves squash, carrots and oatmeal with bananas. We are going to start him on sweet potatos later this week.

He has been sleeping through the night for a couple of months but in the past few weeks he has started sleeping up to 11 hours straight a night which has been very nice.

The time is really starting to fly by now. My mom and sisters are throwing a baby shower for me this Saturday, and I'm really looking forward to it. My pregnancy has been wonderful and uneventful so far- now I'm really starting to get anxious. I just so badly want to meet this little person who has been kicking my insides for the past few months!!! Good luck to all of our other expecting DISers, and congrats to all of our new moms!

I don't post here too often, but I just had to post on this thread. I am 18 weeks pregnant with my second child. Actually it is my 3rd pregnancy. I misscarried in Jan. at about 6 weeks. I have an almost 5yo DD and we just found out we are having a BOY!!!!
This pregnancy has been alot easier than my first, but I still need that nap every day!
We have a trip planned to Disney when I'm in my 7th month, please pray for me LOL!!!:p ;)

My "baby" baby is 6 months old--His name is Connor. He is trying to crawl and just started eating cereal and fruit. He eats like he may not get it again, lol. He is such a good natured baby, he is always happy and smiling. He is prob our last baby so I try to enjoy every minute. My other babies are Michael 15 yrs, Matthew 12 yrs and Evan 2 yrs--who loves the characters at Disney from a far. If they get close he has a cow--even Woody and Buzz who he is crazy about.

I just wanted to say congratulations to you all on your new babies and your upcoming babies :)

I don't know what happened to my baby  I woke up last Friday and he was SIX MONTHS OLD! How do they grow up so fast? He must do it while I'm at school. He promised me he wasn't going to get any bigger, but he just keeps getting bigger...okay, so his promise was more like a gurgle, but still he's getting big way to fast. Its as if he knows he's my last baby and he doesn't want me to enjoy the baby part for much longer :(

He is developing greatly though. He loves his squash and bananas...he's not too fond of peas though (I can't blame him) and he loves cereal (both rice and oatmeal) and he sure does a good job eating. You just can't get the food in his mouth fast enough sometimes. He'll even take the spoon away from you and try to feed himself :)

He can roll over both ways (back to belly and belly to back) and he seems to being scooting (not crawling yet) but he never does it when you look. We bought him the Tummy Time by Playskool and he'll be playing with it and I turn my back for one second and he's turned himself around or scooted to another area of his playmat. Only when I'm not looking though

He should be getting his first tooth soon. You can kinda see it like right under the gums. He's been teething REALLY hard these past couple of weeks, biting down hard on anything he can get in his mouth. He's had a bit of dirreah (sp?) this past week and MIL said when DH got his first tooth he went through the same thing a couple of weeks before the tooth finally showed up. My mom says I got my first tooth at six months and DD got hers at 6 months also, so his should be here soon.

We just had our Christmas pictures made last weekend, so when I get those in I'll post them. He is soooooo cute! We put him in one of those baby suits. We're looking foward to his first Christmas.

Hi all!
I am close to 5 months pregnant with #2. We just found out its a girl. DS, who is 3, is glad that the new baby won't take his toys :) Our due date with #2 is 4/10 but I am having some complications and both my OB and the specialist I am going to think she will be coming early.

Well, I'm approaching 35 weeks! Still feeling and looking good (or so people keep telling me). I've gained more weight than I thought I would, but that's ok. The blood pressure was a bit high at my last visit so I'm anxious to see what it turns out to be tomorrow. Here's hoping it's not high and I end up on bedrest!

I keep dreaming that I'm going to deliver early so I'm thinking I may only have a few more weeks to go. Which, of course, puts me in panic because we haven't finished the baby's room. We just need to buy some furniture (have the crib) and put up the wallpaper border and we're all set.

Glad to see everyone else is doing well.

My little Julia is now 10 1/2 weeks old. She's been my "present" for two occasions so far - we found out I was pregnant 3 days before Christmas, and she was born the day after my birthday (she was actually born just 5 minutes after my birthday ended).

She is "talking" to us more & more every day. She sleeps well - generally anywhere from 6-8 hours a night. Last night I put her down at about 11:00, but she had already been sleeping for a while in her bouncy seat. When I left for work at 6:30 this morning, she was still sleeping. DH, who is not a morning person, is the one who takes care of her in the morning, so he is very glad that she is sleeping so well already! We are getting her first professional pictures taken this weekend - I got her a little outfit that looks like a Santa suit, and we're going to get the photo Christmas cards.

Good luck to all the other new parents, and to all the expectant parents. Call me crazy, but there is a part of me that already can't wait to have another (I had a very easy pregnancy, as well as a very fast labor & delivery, so that may explain part of that...)

I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow. It's starting to catch up with me now. The second trimester was great, but now I'm starting to feel like I'm dragging a medicine ball around with me all the time.

Everything has been going well, except that darn gestational diabetes test. I have to take it for the 3rd time tomorrow because the lab keeps messing up and giving me the wrong test. The first time they said I was only supposed to have glucose screening (just a plain blood test), even though I told them that I was supposed to drink the stuff. Then they gave me the one-hour test with the orange junk, and I failed miserably. The numbers didn't sound right to me, so I did some research, and it turns out they gave me 100 grams of the stuff and they were supposed to give me 50. (I knew they gave me 100 grams, but I didn't know that was wrong until I researched it.) So tomorrow I'm doing it again. I insisted that they give me the 3 hour test this time. I know no one likes that one, but my fear was that I would fail the 1 hour and still have to take the 3 hour anyway. So I'm going to a different lab, and hopefully this will be the last one.

Other than that everything is fine. I'm very big, but people are nicer when they can see you're very pregnant. I am glad I quit working early, because I really think that it's good for my health to always be able to just stop whenever I get too tired.

JeniC My due date is also April 10th!!! Hope you are feeling o.k. and that you won't have serious complications, good luck!

Desnik:
