Preferred Parking at Magic Kingdom

Has anyone used the preferred parking at Magic Kindom to say if it’s worth it? We are on a Universal trip but going over to WDW for MNSSHP. I can’t find much information about the preferred parking option other than you may be close enough to walk to the TTC rather than take a tram. Is it an overall time saver?

I think it's about $40? It is closer to the main TTC area, so a tram isn't needed. I'm just not sure I would pay an addlt $40 to park a bit closer. It would take you about 10 mins longer to use the tram, if that.

I don't even think it will save that much time, or possibly any.
