Background:

I am very excited to be taking my friend to Disneyland for her 50th Birthday. She is having a heard time with it so I figured what better place than Disneyland:woohoo:. This will be a girls only trip. There will be four of us. Me (Christine), DS (Donna), DF (Kay), DF (Eddie - Birthday Girl). I am the big Disney freak of the group so they are pretty much letting me plan everyone we'll see if they feel the same way when we get back:teeth: Only my sister has experienced DL with me.

Plans so far:

We will be staying at Paradise Pier for three nights. We are leaving Vegas after work on Thursday night. We might walk around Downtown Disney or we might just go to sleep early to prepare for Friday.

Friday we will have breakfast at Carnation Cafe and just kind of take it easy (Saturday we go commando). Lunch will be at Pacific Wharf Cafe and Dinner will be at Storytellers Cafe. We got tickets to Mickey's Trick or Treat, which I am really excited about. Last year we went the same weekend but because it was a last minute trip the tickets were already sold out:guilty:.

Saturday we get early morning entry so we will be there bright and early at about 6:15. My main goal is to get on Nemo, I have tried and fail several times because of wait time but this will be the first ride we hit. I have a very strict tour plan for DL on a Saturday but I will deviate from it go finally get on Nemo:fish: After that we will get back on track. I usually try to finish Tomorrow Land and Fantasy Land before the rest of the park opens.

Breakfast will be at River Belle Terrace and then we will head over to DCA. Lunch isn't really planned we will just eat when we're hungry. We will go back to the room for a few hours to nap and than back to DL for Dinner at Pizza Port and hang around to see the fireworks and try to stay until the park closes.

So there it is in a nutshell. To not overload everyone I am sending them weekly email about the trip. This week I just sent them a price breakdown:scared: and the park hours. Next week I will send them a list of the menus.

Thanks for reading. I will update as it get closer.

Oooooh cool! A Girl's Only trip sounds like a great way to ease into turning 50. You are a good friend for planning all this for them! Have fun, can't wait to hear more. popcorn::

OMG, that image is hilarious!!! :lmao: What a great t-shirt that would make.

:woohoo: We are leaving in two more days:woohoo: We can't wait, it has been a very bad month for three of us so this is a much needed vacation.

I am really looking forward to Mickey's Trick or Treat party the most. It is something I have never done before. I made a few dinning changes:

Thursday: dinner in either DTD or the parks (if we could get signed in)
Friday: Breakfast at Riverbelle Terrace, Lunch at Pacific Wharf and Dinner at Storybook Cafe
Saturday: Breakfast at Carnation Cafe, Lunch will just be some snacks and Dinner at Pizza Port

If anyone is at MToT on Friday night look for us. We will all have matching Mickey Vampire shirts on.

I'm too excited to sleep:earseek: :earseek:
