Pre trip report MNNSHP

Okay so it is less than two weeks for our trip to the first night of MNNSHP. We will be staying at BLT so we will be just a short walk away from the Kingdom. DH is finishing our pumpkin. Every year we carve a foam pumpkin with a Disney character. The first year we did a simple vampire Mickey and had him sign. We had Tink last year and had the princesses them sign. this year he is working on two options the castle with a color light to look like the castle at night. (I am really excited about this one). And a second for a backup, pirate Goofy.
We are a family of three, DH, DW, and DD 4. She dresses up as a princess a lot. yes I am the mom that lets her wear her Snow White etc costume to the grocery store. You would think I would let her pick a princess and dress up for Halloween. No, we have to dress up in a theme. We had several options this year but opted with the doctor, nurse and patient with a little twist. DD is the doctor. I will be the nurse and am working on trying to be nurse Minnie. DH will be a construction worker with a "Mickey" hard hat and an injured thumb complete with a real cast.
I love going to the parties. It makes special place even more spectacular. the princesses with their princes. the dance party to groove during the evening and who could forget the trick or treating.
I can hardly wait. I think I get more excited than DD.

My Best friend and I are leaving the hubby's at home for this trip.

I love it that you all get into the spirit of Halloween.
We are just going to be wearing orange shirts that I will be designing for the party.
