pre trip report MNNSHP and then a 7day western

Oh my goodness how time flies. Less than two weeks to go before we head to the world for a party and a cruise. We will be checking into BLT for a quick stay close to the Kingdom to the stay the night for MNNSHP and then off for our first cruise.
this will be our 3rd MNNSHP. We all dress up for the occassion. This year we will be dressed up as a doctor, nurse and injured construction worker complete with a "real" cast. I really am trying to figure out how to attach Minnie Ears to my nurse's cap to be Nurse Minnie. DH is the injured construction worker with a hard hat he modified with mickey ears. As I type away, he is putting the finishing touches on our pumpkins. Each year we carve a foam pumpkin and then take it with us and have the characters sign it. I am really excited about this years. One is the castle and we were able to find a light that is colored. It won't change unless we manually touch the button, but it has the appearance of the castle light up at night. The other is pirate Goofy. We will be partying the night away with dancing, trick or treating, and watching the wonderful parades and fireworks. I am hoping DD 4 will be able to stay up the whole night.
After what I know will be a spectactular night, I know I will have trouble sleeping because we will have to get up and get ready to head to the port.
We want to get to the port early enough to enjoy looking around and taking pictures. i can't wait to see that great big boat and step foot on it.

As I was looking at this post I thought maybe my DW started her own Dis account! We are heading out in 3 1/2 weeks. We are flying in Wed night and checking in at BLT. Bought DVC add on points while on the Wonder in Feb and got the free 7 day Magic Cruise! We will also be doing th MNSSHP on Fri night! Our second time. Then off to the cruise....We are celebrating our 10th Anniversary and paid a little for a Navigators Verandah. Then out of the blue my DW got a free upgrade to a Cat 4 room! Very Excited! Keep us updated on your trip!

Michael (DH, the real WDW Enabler) makes multiple pumpkins each year so there will be a choice of the final product, to take to MNSSHP and get autographed by our favorite characters.
