Pre-trip Report Cruise June 21st-25th ** UPDATED 7/28

I've decided to start a TR for our 2nd disney cruise coming up in one month from today!! Me and my DBF sailed on the March 8th-12th sailing and couldn't resist another cruise this summer. This time we are bringing along his mom, sister (DD10), and brother (DS16). It will be their first cruise!!

We live in Orlando so we will be staying in cocoa the night before the cruise to keep from getting up so early to drive 1 1/2 before the cruise. We are staying at Days Inn Cocoa beach we got it for $75 a night and the room has two queen beds so it's good for all of us. We will hang out a the hotel and beach that day and then go watch the magic pull out of port!

This cruise we will be celebrating me and milton's (DBF) 5 year anniversary together!! We met in highschool we both played soccer for our high school and the soccer girls hung out with the soccer guys and we just clicked. We have two dogs Squirt and Cobi

We will also celebrate Milton's 22nd birthday on board. His birthday is June 22nd so we will be in Nassau and it's dress up night so we have decided to wear very nice clothes to celebrate!! I will wear my prom dress and he will wear the same jacket and pants as last cruise just nicer shirt this time!

We haven't gotten our room assigned yet but we just booked an cat 11 inside because we weren't in our room much last time except to sleep.

FYI... A funny story I will share cause I'm sure it's happened a few times. My mom was dropping me and milton off at the port we arrived around 11:00am. We've never been over in that area so we didn't know which terminal to go to A or B. My mom said look at your tickets. I said ok... looked in my carry on bag, they weren't there!!! I flipped out. I had our tickets, signed online check in papers, and passports in the brown DCL folder that they send the book in. I was so mad at myself because I had be preparing for this cruise for months!! We had to call milton's mom to go to the house get them off my desk and meet my mom half way so she could drive them back to me. WOW!! what a worry thinking that she wouldn't make it on time, etc. We just sat in the DCL terminal waiting and waiting for about 2 hours until she finally made it back with our stuff and we were about to check in. Now i know I will never live this down with milton, because I am a very organized person and plan everything. just thought I would share. so make sure you have your passports and the IMPORTANT things and they aren't left at home on your desk

YEAH!! we are going to go and watch the Magic pull out of port. We will be in cocoa on saturday and want to see the ship pull away. So I will take some pictures and post them so you can have some of your boat actually pulling away!! Have fun on your cruise!!

Nothing new today. But we have great news to everyone that is ORLANDO MAGIC FANS!! WE ARE GOING TO THE NBA FINALS BABY!!! YEAH!! so excited about that!!

Looks like the weather will be good for my cruise!! (hopefully) here is a picture of the dress I am going to wear on Monday night (milton's birthday) and also to celebrate our aniversary it is my prom dress from high school.

of course these are back five years ago.. lol

I was thinking earlier that it was to dressy for the wonder but got a few people to tell me to jsut do it. So i think I'm going to wear it even though it's only dress up night on monday not formal like on the magic.

Thanks everyone for the coments. I have decided to change my mind and not wear the prom dress. It's going to be too much to lug around and pack. I'm just going to wear a black and turquoise coctail dress. I really wanted to wear it but I think I'll wait until we go on a 7 night cruise and can use it then. Not too much longer and I'll be on the wonder!! I can't wait it's so addicting!! lol

Will your DS be going into the club anytime? Milton's sister (gracie 10) will be going (her 1st cruise) and hoping she will make some friends while onboard. Do you have late dinning or early? We have late we loved it last time it worked so well because by 5:00 we were hungry at all because of the lunch we ate so the late dining worked great!!

I am certainly hoping that DS will be going to the kids' club! That's my plan at least!

He is turning 11 and this is also his (and our) first cruise. So, maybe he will meet Gracie along the way.

We have early dinner, because my in-laws booked it. (I would have chosen late, but...)

We can't wait for our first cruise. We are spending next week in Orlando, doing Disney a few days and supposedly relaxing. So, I'm packing bags already.

I have started packing everything, not done yet still have a little bit more laudry to do to get everything clean i want to take. And got our pirate shirts finished for everyone. Also made me and gracie matching shirts and skirts to wear on our first day. I will post pictures up after my cruise cause I don't want anyone having the same outfit on my cruise even though it's pretty close it can still be done so you'll have to wait until thursday when I return to see the outfits I made. I made one for myself then when gracie saw it she wanted on too and I never had a sister and she doesn't have one either so i'm her "big sister" and we will be matching it will be great fun!!

So were back... Done with unpacking and all laudry now. Were were very glad to be home because we missed our dogs, but at the same time want to still be on the boat.

It was a great cruise!!!


On Saturday the 20th we woke up and got eveything ready and left for cocoa beach about 10:45am. Didn't take too ling to get there arounf 12:30 or so. We then tried to check into the hotel but the room wasn't ready so we decided to head on to the beach.We stayed at the beach for about 2 hours until we were able to check back and see if the room was ready and now it was!!

Here is the magic in port the day when we arrived to cocoa beach...

We ate dinner at the old fish house. IT WAS AMAZING!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND going there!! Very good prices and the food was excellent. they have the menu and address on the web site if you google old fish house cocoa beach. It's a little hole in the wall family owned place but don't let that fool you!! We will always eat here when ever we go to cocoa beach.


Sunday June 21st:

The day is here time to get on the wonder. We got to the port about 9:45 and Milton was able to drop us off and the luggage and then take the car back to the hotel and be on the 10:30 shuttle from the hotel. We had to stand in line for a few minutes before they would let us into the port at 10:00 we checked in and got boarding pass #2!!

We ate at parrot cay for lunch and they had a buffet. It was very good!! Pluto came by for a visit

Then when we walked around and saw goofy hanging down on deck 9 and he was reading a book with someone at the pool

THANKS!! I did them myself took a little while but turned out great!! the shirts have minnie mouse in swarvoski crystals if it's not noticable!! I LOVE MINNIE!!
