Pre-trip planning for Bad Momma & Pre-Teen Queen 6/27/09-7/5/09

Dd and I have traveled all over from coast-to-coast, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, even traveled to St. Pete, FL-- but never, ever to DISNEY!

Since dd makes it to dance competition nationals every year, we're heading to Disney!

What's done:

Reservations:
Animal Kingdom Lodge package 6/27/09 --too much, but we only live once.

Dolphin Resort 6/28/09-7/5/09 (I know, non-Disney, competition is there)
$164 per night, including all fees & taxes


What's not done:

Airline tickets--how low can we go

Figuring meals--nonDisney owned resort= no DDP--

Park tickets:
I know we want to check out Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and maybe DHS. I know we won't have the chance to hit the parks every day, so trying to determine days & type.

I am in. Just want to see how your daughter does....I have a 3 yr old drama queen....Can they really be that dramatic at 3....i am not looking forward to a13 with her...

Anyway...It sounds like this is going to be a great trip for the 2 of you....and looks like you are getting a great start on it!!

I honestly think drama queens have an extra chromsome--really.

I knew dd was a DQ from the age of 2 when she demanded an audience to watch her "dance" in front of the fireplace to Billy Joel--lol. She never looked back. And even at 12, dd's favorite colors are dark pink & purple with a newly decorated bedroom. I want baubles, pretty, pink, attention, and specific clothes--that's dd!

She'll turn 13 two weeks before we head to Disney.

This should be fun!

Yeah!! They most definatly are a different breed, LOL I was very surprized how at such a young age....EVERYTHING HAS TO BE JUST RIGHT!!! OR I WILL NOT WEAR IT!!!!.....right down to having to have matching shoes and socks for each outfit....she has more shoes then I do.. but I do blame some of this on myself since where she was a baby we use to really get her dressed up with hair done and such when going out....

Right now I am freaking out because she decided to cut her bangs....3 weeks before we leave What cute pics we will have on our photo pass

Anyway...I subbed to your thread to see how it goes for you and your daughter....I hope you have fun working on your pretrippie!!!
