Pre-schoolers Web Sites

DD (almost 5) is in pre-school and can spend hours on the SesameStreet.com Web site, playing the games. "coloring" the pictures and making music. She loves being able to navigate to the different sections herself, with no assistance from me.

Does anyone know of any other sites like that for pre-schoolers? The PBS site is a little more cumbersome and she generally needs my help for the reading of directions or getting in and out sections. She gets bored if she needs my help (she wants to be a "big girl").

What about the Playhouse Disney website? Remy loves that one.

Nick Jr has a good website.
My cousin when he was younger would play for quite a long time on it, whenever he came over.

My DD spends most of her time on the PC between Noggin, Nick Jr and Playhouse Disney websites. All have games, stories, songs, etc. She will turn 3 tomorrow and seems to do pretty well navigating the sites. Some of the games are a little hard for her so would probably be great for an older kid. Also, I know the Disney site, if not the others, has links to areas that are for paid members only. I don't know exactly what they have there but I'm guessing fancier games.

You might also try PBS Kids as it has games, stories and other things related to PBS kids shows.

Thanks for the advice on the sites. I just spent the last hour or so setting up a kid-friendly account for her on our computer (XP) and making desktop links to these sites. I can't wait to show her tomorrow. She's staying home with me for a few days a week until I'm done with maternity leave and I figure slightly education computer games are better than seeing Nemo or Three Musketeers for the millionth time!

Since we're moving, we have all her books and toys are packed, so she's been pretty bored while I'm working (I'm working from home until I have our baby, so that I don't have to go on disability.)
