Pre-Park Opening H&V- Jedi Training

I have a PPO H&V breakfast reservation @ 8:30am- park opens at 9. My oldest son would like to do Jedi Training- how do we navigate this with a PPO breakfast? Will we be able to sign up prior to breakfast- or during- or after? Does this give us any advantage for touring? Also- how is the breakfast- we were here for lunch a few years ago and were unimpressed and waited for quite some time.

I haven't done this before, but it's our plan on our upcoming trip as well. From what I have been told you can sign up prior to breakfast but make sure your son is with you at sign up. Not going to lie, I don't have high hopes for the breakfast but my daughter wants to see the Disney Jr. characters and my son wants to do Jedi training, so I think it's worth it.

I have read that you are now able to sign up for Jedi training before park opening now, but have not tried myself.

The sign ups are not that far from the restaurant. In the past, I just grabbed the kids when I saw the park opening and went quickly to sign up, while DH stayed at our table. Then we went back and finished our meal and meet and greets.

But, if you have a H&V PPO ADR reports are you can sign up for Jedi at 8:00 (or a little earlier) before checking into H&V to eat.

we did this in 2015, was flawless, was just vader show at the time. We had to wait a little outside restaurant til park open ( was a employee standing guard) and were 1st in line to sign up. Wondering if anyone can confirm if they now allow you to saunter over and sign up starting at 8am.. we have 8:40am ressies park open at 9am, no EMH (ty god lol).... waiter knew the drill and let us know when to go out to sign up, lol. Breakfast was nice and filling, characters ok, took to go coffees, best part lol.

oh and at park open ppl stampede to sign ups carrying and or dragging their kids... eeeekkk! Not a situation you wanna be in, ressies totally worth it!

just last month we did this. they will let you in at 8am and you can go do jedi training sign up first then go to H&V. enjoy breakfast. eat leisurely and then watch a mad rush of people run by the restaurant while you enjoy your coffee

You can get there as early as 8am if you want and they should seat you close to the time you booked, or even before that (assuming you spent ten minutes or so signing up for Jedi Training first). Yes, you can sign up first and they will ask you at the podium whether you have already signed up since you need to keep your group together to be seated.

What I am not sure of is the cutoff for the early entry. I think that anything up to 8:45 on a non-EMH day will be allowed in at 8am, but I'm not sure if, say, a 9am reservation qualifies for early entry. I saw this question listed somewhere today and thought I'd add it here so it would be in the proper thread

Right, but if I can, I'd rather get signed up pre park open and not be fighting hordes of kids to get to the sign up. Plus, we'd like to get an earlier time if we can. We've enjoyed food. The variety isn't like tusker or 1900 pf but quality is good
