There's quite a few threads on the benefits of pre-ordering at BOG and substitutions in terms of the dessert, but I haven't seen it asked (I think) as far as substituting the drink when you pre-order.

For those who pre-order and have done so recently, how have you been able to sub the drink for the soup? We would like to keep our dessert (cupcake :)), but do not need the drink and would like to make it the french onion soup (or another cupcake in case someone else had a question about that). With the change to the menu, it's easy to sub out the dessert for the soup since it's listed in the dessert section, but curious about the drink substitution when it comes to pre-ordering?

Thanks :thanks:

From reports on here, there isn't a way to make the sub for the drink on the pre-order. You may have to skip that and order when you get there.

No, you do not need to wait to order, and you shouldn't. Make your preorder & just don't select a drink. The CM will adjust the charges properly when you get there.

This was my question too... So just to be clear, preorder the entree and dessert and leave drink out. When u go to pay ( we are on ddp) the cm will add the other dessert if u want two (or soup). Planning on the kids sharing one meal that includes one entree and two desserts.
