Pre-DISApalooza get together - Friday 12/9???

HI!!!

Is anyone interested having a get together to say "HI", a drink (soda or other), and listen to YehaaaBob at Port Orleans Riverside on 12/9 Friday night. YehaaaBob starts around 8:30.

Any thoughts?

I also remember something on the sticky thread about an event or activity in honor of Pete and Walter's wedding...maybe something GKTW related.

I wonder if the Crew plan to do any other activities during the weekend. I know we have the live recording on Sunday, but the last Toy Story event also had a seminar on Friday.

Count me in...I would love to stop by with my sister.

I wonder if the Crew plan to do any other activities during the weekend. I know we have the live recording on Sunday, but the last Toy Story event also had a seminar on Friday.

I kept waiting for them to give us the specifics on this, but finally gave up and went ahead and booked my return air for noon that day, so I will be missing out on this. The Team has been so busy traveling that I certainly understand why we haven't heard the details yet, but I was too worried that airfare would keep rising.

Yes, planning for that weekend has been tough. I would like All Ears to put out more info on the hard ticket event. I know it's a dessert party, but any attractions open, etc?

I had hoped for more activities and events from the Crew, but I know they have been very busy. I've always wanted to go to a Dis event, but the timing has never worked. I'm so excited that I finally get to meet the Crew! It was difficult to decide on dates because I didn't want to miss anything.

I hope they still plan to do the live recording. The last time they talked about it on the podcast it seemed there was going to be a time issue with many of the Crew having plans that day.

We are fast approaching that 45 day mark where people are committing to their reservations. I wonder if we will hear more information on next week's podcast.

I can't speak for the whole team but Kevin and I will be very busy that weekend so we will not be organizing or attending any event on 12/9 or during the day 12/10.

We are still waiting to hear back from several of our hotel partners on venue options for the live recording on Sunday. We will not be making any kind of announcement on this until a lot closer. If we are holding you up from committing to other events/activities that weekend please don't wait on us.

I have no idea where, when or even if this will occur at this time and I don't want you missing ou on something else.

Me neither. In fact, I wasn't able to get into any of the hard ticketed events with All Ears. I'm open that evening now.

I'm kind of curious as to how many people submitted requests versus how many spots were actually available. Like I said, I tried for 3 events and struck out every time. I was a little irrationally "miffed" at first last night, but everyone on facebook was so gracious [one lady even tried to let me have her Jim Korkis ticket - the one I really wanted] and then Deb Koma posts and apologizes and explains - I mean how can you stay unhappy with that great group of people.

Must be a different Nancy (from CA?), because I didn't know about this! (Or maybe I did, but didn't remember that I did! ) So many possibilities that Friday night - including evening EMH at Epcot!
