Pre-Cruise Gifts - verification of order

I always call in orders like that (not cakes though) and get confirmation emails every time. I just make sure when I call that they know which email address to send the confirmation to. :)

That is SO odd. I ordered a couple of things for our room, plus Day passes for RainForest Room, each of these done in separate calls. I got NO emails. As soon as I get any emails from DCL I move them right to my DCL folder. :worried: I even called in a good sized onboard credit and ASKED that the shoreside concierge send me an email. I did get one for that, but it was weird too. It just shows as an "amenity" ordered but doesn't say what or how much. o_O It only makes sense to me that you WOULD get a confirmation email..... :confused3

I have always ordered champagne for sail away for our room, and it's been well over 2 years since that sailing so I can't swear to that but I don't recall getting emails on that either by maybe I did no those sailings??

This was my experience also. Called them on the phone. Placed multiple orders. Received no confirm e-mail. But when we arrived on the ship, everything we requested was there.

I think it really depends on who you get on the phone. :) Most times I am asked if I would like a confirmation email and it is sent immediately. Less frequently, I ask them to send it before the end of the call if they don't mention it first. I call DCL amenities A LOT for various cruises both personally and professionally. Maybe they have me tagged as needing a confirmation? lol
 
Okay, I just went back to my email and did search for DCL, Disney Cruise, etc. And the only amenity confirmation I have is the one I requested for the onboard credit I applied but it only says "amenity" with no specifics whatsoever and no confirmation of amount. How weird is that? All ya'll have gotten confirmations but I must be a red-headed stepchild.... :laughing: Kinda like that thread where someone asks why the DCL website hates them?

lol! What is really strange is that all of the OBC amenity additions I have done have always had dollar amount as well as the message to the person I am giving it to.
For example, it will have the name of the person with a message like Bon Voyage, Enjoy the Fantasy, etc. and the amount of the OBC added.
It gets even more entertaining that OBC is added as single dollars with the qty and then the total amount. So if I wanted 100.00 in OBC, it would read 1.00 QTY 100 for a total of 100.00. :)

I would contact DCL and ask them to send you the confirmations to the email address of your choosing. They can still do this for your current cruise that is in a week or so. :)
