I know! I didn't think of photos until you and your DH were pushing your mountains towards the door at customs in Sydney - my brain was totally fried :crazy2:

I'm still feeling the jet lag - last few nights I've fallen asleep on the lounge by 8pm and I'm usually a nightowl. :faint:

I thought it was me, but couldn't get going this morning, felt I was drugged.....glad to hear it's just the jet lag....and I am so glad you didn't take a photo, you may have captured the humiliation on DH's face

I wouldn't mind putting some faces to names, but its tricky for me to find time away from the boys :(

Bring them along! I'm sure we can find somewhere kid-friendly :)

You may live to regret that invitation. Three boys: 5, 3 and 1. The baby doesn't know how to be still - ever! We avoid going out in public with him whenever possible!!!

re: location..i'm happy to meet in a park/by a beach/ @ a bus shelter.....its summer, the weather will be great and I need to focus on maintaining my oooba tan...

manly ferry, the zoo, the aquarium, the opera house...

I missed this originally!

Count me in, depending on other commitments. Sunday is my best option, but Sat afternoon/evening might be possible with enough notice.......

I'm in if there's a time/place that suits everyone. ( That's the challenge of course! Sunday's are no good for me but I can do a Saturday daytime or a Friday night)

I'm assuming we're from all over so I guess somewhere central would be best - the city is an obvious ( Botanical gardens? Darling Harbour?) or, maybe, Homebush would be more central if anyone's coming from the west?

Andona

I'm north west, which really means west, I believe I am north of australiankaren

I used to meet up with a couple of friends, one south, one north, one west- we found bicentennial park was a great central location! We went for the playground, but there was a small cafe, not sure how busy it gets on a weekend.
This requires driving, which suits me, as I don't really want to public transport it on my own,!

Bicentennial Park sounds good. I'm in....gulp...The Shire. ( It's not easy to say that after all the bad publicity we've had down here lately! :lmao: )

There is a cafe which could be good for a daytime gathering. http://www.waterviewvenue.com.au/cafe/

If the only time we can all meet is night-time there is the big Chinese restaurant at Rhodes. I haven't eaten there but I've heard it's good? http://www.phoenixrestaurants.com.au/rhodes-phoenix/maps-hours

I'm not pushing these in particularly - just looking at options :)

Ok I'll suggest Saturday 17th November for lunch, say 1:00pm at that cafe!

I'm South West.

It depends on the weekend, but most Saturday arvos and Sundays are good for me too
