Just pre-booked our seats on Virgin from Manchester - got the ones we wanted - but a bit of advice if you are phoning.
The Virgin office is open on Saturday if you're phoning 180 days ahead - I thought it was only open Mon to Fri.
We are a party of 13 and my wife wife tried to book 13 seats together but due to the data protection act you can only book for your own family - we had to ring round the other parties concerned after we had booked our seats so they could book the adjacent seats. The Virgin agent helpfully gave us all the adjacent seat numbers so the other members of the party just had to quote these and we were sorted. Virgin could not hold the seats so we were lucky that they did not go while I dashed to the sister-in-laws house to drag her out of bed to phone!! (The phone was switched off).
