Prayers & Pixie Dust Request ~ UPDATE

Hi All!

A few weeks ago I asked for prayers for my mom who was going to have cataract surgery...well, it's scheduled for tomorrow at 8:30 am. I know this is "minor" surgery but it is surgery with the eyes so if I could get some prayers and pixie dust I would really appreciate it!

UPDATE: Hi Guys! Thanks for all your prayers...My dad just called to tell me she was in the recovery room and munching on some toast and coffee (that was at 9:10am and her surgery was scheduled at 8:30am ~ it's amazing how they do things these days) I just wanted to thank all of you and to tell you how wonderful I think all of you are on this board. ~*Stacey*~

I have lots of prayers to share and saying some for your mom right now.

My mother had this surgery and had no problems. The only thing she didn't like about it was the ointment she had to keep in her eyes for a few days.

I'm sure your mom will have an easy time, too. She will be so happy after her eyes heal from this surgery. My mother didn't even need her bifocals anymore after hers.

Stacey, my thoughts and prayers are with your mom for a sucessful surgery and good recovery. I know my grandmother has had this surgery twice (each eye) and was just fine with it. I am sure your mom will be fine too

Something I learned when my son was having ear tubes put in: No surgery is minor surgery when it's happening to someone you love.
