Prayers & PD request for my baby cousin

Hi everyone! I normally don't post this sort of thing, but feel it is needed. My cousin, who is 2 y/o, has been struggling with eczema her whole life. It covers 90% of her body about 75% of the time. Now, she is experiencing one staph infection after another, which is supposedly related to the eczema. She is visiting a specialist (endocrinologist) at the Children's Hospital in Birmingham today. I'm requesting some prayers and PD for her and the doctor because we really need to find out what is wrong with her and how to treat her.

Thanks so much!!!! BTW, her name is Natalie and she's a funny, beautiful little girl.

She's been tested, but so far no food allergies. She does have other allergies though. She sees an allergy specialist also.

Well, my daughter certainly doesn't have it that bad, but what she does have (or has had) is bad enough. I know it can be so frustrating, especially when you don't know the cause.

I will keep her in my thoughts.

I've been through a very similar situation with my oldest son. He has eczema, and when it was at its worst, he was a mess. He also developed a staph infection - his was MRSA, which is a drug resisitant staph infection. Thankfully, we got it cleared up with a special medication (SUPER expensive) that can knock out the MRSA, and his eczema cleared up a lot once the staph was resolved. It was very scary. He still has eczema in some areas, but thankfully, it's never gotten as bad again. (The doctors told me that he may outgrow it, and it's definitely gotten better as he's gotten older.)

I'll send prayers for your cousin that it is easily taken care of.
