My thoughts and prayers are added as well. There are a couple of coal miners that live in our neighborhood although not from this specific mine. They came home yesterday evening with tears streaking through their coal dusted faces.
My heart and prayers go out to the poor workmen and families of all those lost and the 4 other families waiting and hoping for a miracle. I can't begin to imagine their pain and grief. I read that Willingham, who had mined for 30 years, was just five weeks from retiring and planned to take his wife on a cruise to the Virgin Islands next month.
May these brave souls RIP.
I live in the Eastern Panhandle of WV. I have been glued to the news channels watching for any info on it. My Dad worked for the mining association in D.C and giot to know some of the mine owners(don't know if he knew this one) It's always a painful time for everyone when something like this happens
