Prayers for my dad's surgery B4 our Dec. trip

This is an amazing and touching site. So many stories of loss and survival too.
I wanted to, if I may, ask for your prayers for my dad. He is 75 and has a family history of heart disease. He had a double by-pass in 1997 and then had two stints put in in 2006. We just found out yesterday that he has more blockages and is in need of more stints. We have a WDW trip scheduled for Dec. 2-9 this year and he and my mom are planning to go with us. This will be our 3rd trip to "the world" with them and I can't imagine going without them. My boys love them so much.
Please say a prayer for him as we find out more information on Thursday as to when he will have the surgery and please pray that he makes it through the surgery without any problems.

Please let us know how he is doing with the plans of the surgery... how sweet to go with your grandchildren to WDW.......I hope all is well and you can continue with your plans for your trip....

Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. The results today showed that there are 3 major blockages leading to his heart. They are recommending bypass surgery. My parents will consult with one other heart surgeon before deciding when to have this done. My dad wants to wait until after the first of the year, so that he can lose some weight and still go on our trip. So, we are waiting to be seen by the second heart doctor (a family friend) to get his opinion. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He is really worried about making it through the bypass surgery and also the long recovery that is involved.
Thank you again for your concern. I will update after they talk to the 2nd doctor, which should be tomorrow.
