Prayer request for C.Ann ~

Dis friends,

For those who remember C.Ann, I received a call from our Dis friend today . She wanted me to post on her behalf, asking for your postive thoughts and prayers, as sadly she’s been diagnosed w/inoperable cancer . As you may remember, she’s been sickly a few years and undergoing lots of testing. She is now under Hospice care, living w/her DD, SIL, and DGD.

She also wanted me to share with you, she has been blessed to fall in love within the last year with a wonderful man, Whitt, who helps nurse her when he’s not at work. They had hoped to be married in near future, but she doesn’t feel it would be fair to him at this point in time.

With many thanks to all. Please know, she sends her love and best wishes and thinks of her Dis friends often.

May Godspeed our Dis friend, C.Ann, during these very difficult days and surround her with faith, loving family, and peace in her time of great need.

I never knew C Ann but I always enjoyed reading her posts about her cabin upstate. For me, it was like reading a chapter in a book.

I have often thought of her when on the DIS and wondered about her. I am very sorry to hear this news. I am grateful to C Ann for wanting to share this news w/the DIS. Wonderful that she once again found love and that she she has her loving family at her side.

I will pray for her & her family and thinking of her puts a smile on my face.

Isn't it amazing how someone we don't even know can make a positive impression on others. That's something I will take away from this and hopefully it will make me a better person.
