Prayer Chain for Katrina Victims!!

Father, we don't know why, but we ask for your loving hand to be wrapped around the victims of this tragedy.

As I sit here thinking about what I would do if my 2 year old hadn't eaten in 3 days and we had been trapped on an overpass the entire time, I thank God with all my heart I have a home to go home to. So many don't have that luxury today.

Lord,
Please be with the people that have gone through this awful event. Please give them a calmness to endure. Be with those who are trying to rescue them and please bless the rescue attempts. Please open away to get them out of there. Open peoples hearts to help and allow the supplies that they need get to them. We trust that you alone can make this happen.

Lord calm their fears and please open a way up for their rescue and further safety. Lord we know You are in charge of all of these happenings. Lord we put our faith in you and love you and glorify you even in this horrible event. Lord please be with all the missing and all the families in Mississippi and Alabama as well. Lord also please be with the rescue workers who are doing their best to help. Lord give them peace in their hearts to endure through what they are seeing and will see. Lord may Your will be done in this horrible circumstance. Again we love and praise and glorify YOU!.
