Hey sunshinegirl. I just wanted to say that I just started doing rewards sites after reading these board sites, and I am having lots of fun with sunshine rewards! I think you seem very dedicated and seem to be doing a great job. I read your post on another board about starting your own business, and I think you are a great example to those who are looking to do the same.

On the dowside...I am now spending much more time on my computer and I think my house may be strting to grow dust bunnies that won't fit under the beds any more!

BTW, do you know if LL Bean is a part of any reward sites, or are they too big within themselves to participate? Just wondering.

Thank you so much!! I was actually having some pangs of regret this afternoon. I had a chat with the gal who replaced me in my old job (of 7 years!). I had really built up a quality and training team for a major legal publisher and the team was just starting to do well. When I talked to her this afternoon, she was just glowing with excitement over how well the team was doing and all of the things that are finally opening up for them. I thought, "crap..did I leave just when I finally starting achieving what I wanted?"

Then I remembered why I started Sunshine Rewards. It really made sense to me when I saw what advertisers were paying for that there had to be a way to share the proceeds of those advertisements with other people like myself who wanted to be home with family or who were trying to raise an extra couple of bucks here and there. It sounds kind of corny, but I feel like I kind of have a calling to help other people get a start with their online businesses and "share the wealth."

I've used a number of rewards sites, and you really figured out a way to stand out against the rest, from these promotional cashouts to just keeping things so friendly. Most of the "men behind the curtain" like to stay back behind the curtain, but you've managed to person behind the site out there that people can "know" and trust - and the fact that you can come on here and answer questions and join in discussions without sounding like a pushy salesperson speaks volumes.

Since I think that you can never recieve to much praise. I just wanted to also say that I love sunshine rewards and sunshine girl. The credits get done timely, the site is fun and always changing to keep it interesting and if for some reason something is not credited (whick does happen even with the good sites) she is quick to respond to your email and get the problem resolved quickly.

Thanks for a wonderful site and for giving us great customer service (something that most places lack now a days).

I love SR. It's my favorite program, and I've earned the most money from it now too. I just wish I knew what ever happened to my credit from Fit MD...

Just wanted to put my 2Cents in that I too LOVE SR! Unlike MyPoints, CR and some others I feel like Sunshine girl really cares about the site and what her members think. I hope you continue to be successful and do well but hope you can always retain that personal level you have now

I have to say that I agree that you add a personal touch to the site. You have lots of shopping and reward links and you do give credit very quickly!!
I have been a member of MyPoints for years and my rewards have never built up as quickly as they do on Sunshine Rewards. I found SR though this dicussion board and I am thrilled to be a member. You are doing a great job!!

I appreciate the kind words. As most people know, I left my corporate job after 7 years last summer to make Sunshine my real job and spend more time with my kids. It's a constant balance trying to do right by the members but also not tick off the advertisers. LOL! But I love sending out those gift cards and hearing what people do with them. That is my favorite part!

Love, love, LOVE the site Tricia! Said it before, and I'll say it again- it's the best.

I have about $300 in Disney Dollars and Gift cards for this upcoming trip thanks to your site. I plan on using them for the following: dinner for DH and I at CA Grill; dinner for the 5 of us at Chefs de France. Lunch at Tusker House. And a small shopping spree at one of the stores. I will think of Sunshine each time I spend one of my gift cards or Disney Dollars. I think I will get about another $50 before we go; I'm thinking that will be either lunch at Pecos Bills or maybe a bunch of those cute princess beanbag dollies for my DD. (The boys are earning their own money for the trip to spend as they wish ).

Here's what we used our "Sunshine" Disney Gift Cards and Disney Dollars on: Dinner at Crystal Palace, Dinner at Hollywood Brown Derby, Lunch at the Plaza Restaurant, and dinner at 'Ohana.

I'm saving now for an extra night at POR for my daughter and I in June

Is there a smiley for jealous? Because that is what I need right now. LOL! I'm having the Disney withdrawal big time. Probably no trip for me until October. But I have been saving up my gift cards myself to be able to take my sister and her two kids with us to MNSSHP. My sister has not been since she was 6 and she lives in Tampa!! Can you believe it??? We took her 3 year old with us last year and hope to take both her and her 3 and 1 year olds with us this year. I can't wait!!!!

Aww Tricia that is so sweet! I love SR as well! So far through SR we have one of our park hopper tickets "paid" for and I'm sure I will get enough for the other (and hopefully part of the dining plan!) by our December trip! Yay for SR! Thanks for all of your hard your and best customer service!
